Summary: DB3 & DMP
Review: I've used the DB3 for a few months and found it to be a very user friendly piece of kit. The set up is very simple compared to other Broadcasting software. The most difficult part is finding the right port number and even a child could achive this.
Its a good bit of kit and for the price you cant complain.
The support you get from the help techs and other broadcasters on the forums is first class, and the crews of all the vessels are only too willing to lend a hand in a storm.
PiP says Buy It and set sail on the airwaves of the world wide web..... Shiver me timbers!

Summary: Destiny Technologies Broadcaster
Review: It needs far more work doing to the software before it can be cosiderd a usable finished product. It was taken out of beta far too soon IMO. If listeners dont have a good set up (PC and Connection) there is a tendancy for the broadcaster to crash. Its happening all the time. You are limited to maybe 3-5 listeners on a DSL/cable hook up. far below the 3-30 stated in the promotion information. 56k modem users will be wasting money buying this product as they will not have enough bandwith to broadcast to even 1 other person. (1/10)

Summary: Easy to setup, easy to use, awesome product
Review: This has got to be the easiest way to run an internet broadcast. The broadcaster is small, it is very efficient in bandwidth use, supports a no-download java playback (mono only) or with the Destiny Media Player (very small download) supports 128Kbit stereo broadcasting. User connections are automatically scalable to the listener so a modem user can connect as well as a broadband user and you only need to offer one broadcast stream for either. Automatic scaling is very nice! The community of broadcasters are great people and make this a great product. The publisher, Destiny, is also great. Very approachable unlike some large companies where they play "pass-the-buck" if you have a question. If you are looking for a simple way to get into internet broadcasting, this is the product to use. While it doesn't have every bell or whistle, the features and simplicity it does have make it well worth the [money].

Summary: Easy to use Broadcasting Software
Review: This takes no time at all to set up. Start it up and it will detect your IP address. You load a playlist (even supports Winamp playlists) and press play. That's it! You can stream to a media player or no player at all (using a Java applet) so the listener does not have to download anything to tune in. You are automatically listed in the media player and the online directory. Another nice thing is tht the bitrate auto-adjusts to the listener connection, no need to have multiple streams like Shoutcast. Easy to use, great support, and the price is right, great software.
