Summary: Does what it promises - and then some.
Review: I purchased MemTurbo and love it. Its interface is clean and easy to use and the program has saved my bacon a few times already - usually when I'm running lots of programs and forget to 'save'. It is refreshing to find a program that actually lives up to its hype. And the best part is that it's cheaper than buying more RAM.

Summary: company does not stand behind it's policy
Review: I purchased MemTurbo to free up space and to try and stop crashes on my system. I downloaded program and ordered the software, too. After installing, I had more crashes and lock ups and it did not free a substantial amount of memory. I returned the software UNOPENED to them and requested a refund from them within 7 days. They do not give very good directions on how or what to do for a refund. Can't believe they do not have a phone number! That should be a clue on how hard they are to contact. Started dialogue with their customer service - they said they did not get my refund notice within the 30 day time frame (not true and I have sent them the original emails showing it was within 7 days)so as of today, 01-21-03 I am still getting the run around. Funny they give such a hard time for one little refund when they claim they sell millions of these to happy customers! Buyer Beware.

Summary: ONLY BECAUSE !!!
Review: I rate it a 0...I entered 1 only because they don't offer a o...I donw loaded the program from their site...all went smooth for the down load...but it slowed my system DOWN...and I have been trying for on or about 10 days at least to get a refund and they took/ ahve taken their good ole sweet time in directing me in the direction I needed to go and just finaly after on or about 10 days told me what to do....and informed me that my 30 was running out...Im sure HOPEFULY they can count.... They draged this out to use up my 30 days and then as Ihear tell it...have ch arged my shipping and handleing for software Ihave not gotten

Summary: Suprise!!! You Get What They Claimed
Review: I saw the ad for the product and thought "Ho-hum.Another dud program with poor documentation, miserable performance, a drag down of performance and. and, and - but what the heck. It's not much money and it might work partly (with a 400Mhz processor I needed something to cut those interminable waits for "loading", "opening", "accessing", etc)Oh how wrong I was and what a delightful experience I had!!!! Everything claimed for MemTurbo and NetTurbo has happened. I could Hardly believe my eyes. Somehow the performance of this product needs much wider publicity from USERS than it currently enjoys on any of it's download sites - at least as far as I could find. Thanks so much the developer for the great "as advertised" product that installs and and works like a charm. One delighted customer. Eric Jenett

Review: I'm a little suspcious of memory products after being burned by a "RAM Doubler" a few years ago, but was very pleasantly surprised to discover that MemTurbo lives up to its claims and then some! The installation process went was completely painless, and when MemTurbo started I was met with an attractive display summarizing my PC's current memory and CPU usages. When I clicked the Scrub RAM I was blown away by the amount of RAM MemTurbo was able to recover: over 280M extra on my 512M PC! Although it seems to be marketed as a product for increasing RAM what I found more impressive was the stability it has added to my PC: I don't think I've had to reboot once since installing MemTurbo, whereas before I was rebooting at -least- once a day to get my PC back to the level of stability it would have when first turned on. All in all a great product, and highly recommended!

Summary: MemTurbo II is the best buy for your money,
Review: If you use alot of memory intensive programs, like Photoshop or Ulead DVD Workshop, you'll want this. It recovers memory you lost when using programs. It'll keep the crashes to a minimum and everything runs faster. The best money I've ever spent.

Summary: No longer useful
Review: MemTurbo did seem to help my Windows 98 machine. I felt it did a very good job there, so good, in fact, I bought several people MemTurbo as a Christmas present one year. However, once I went to Win2k and then WinXP it was no longer needed. In the past several years there have been NO new advances to this program. I think they are just keeping it out there to make some money, but no new work is being done on it. Also: if you want to be on their email list for updates (not that there have been any) they will regularly email you about other products they sell. So you either have to put up with their unwanted email or get off their mailing list. I suggest the latter (for more details on my problems with MemTurbo support, see http://tntluoma.com/reviews/memturbo/ ) While MemTurbo itself was a good product, those who are running newer versions of Windows do not need it, the product is apparently no longer being developed, and several folks have mentioned problems getting refunds. Buyer beware.

Summary: Great Software, even includes NetTurbo but not mentioned!
Review: MemTurbo ROCKS! I tried it on two of my PCs, an older 233 with only 128M of RAM, where it actually made XP usable on this lowly machine, and on my new P4 2.2GHz w/ 1G of RAM. While I found that the 1G of RAM machine doesn't need to recover very often (understandable!), when it does it really clears the machine's brain cells, just like a reboot. Very handy before launching a game! The Deluxe version of MemTurbo included NetTurbo, which I don't think is even mentioned here, but its a great addition. I've done a fair amount of benchmarking both before and after the NetTurbo installation using DSLReports.com, and I've found about a 20% improvement in throughput. The ping times, however, show the most improvement and that's what matters to me (for online gaming, any advantage I can get!)
