Summary: Works Terrible
Review: $[money] bucks for a product that comes with a parallel cable? So SLOOOWWWWWW!!!!!! They wanted another $[money]for a USB cable, crazy. I tried moving apps, but it corrupted my system and I had to reload everything over again. Installing apps from the CD is so much faster, and legal unlike making copies which AlohaBob does. Get IntelliMover by Detto Technologies if you want to just move settings and files. It's 5 times faster, safer and has a built in file transfer utility you can keep using.

Summary: Bob Works
Review: Bought it at Comp USA, salesman said it was pretty good. Anyway decided to try it on my home network. I was moving from 98 S.E. to XP Home. First attempt didn't work. I needed the latest version, got it off their site. Using the latest version over my network worked like a charm. Highly recommend it, but read the manual, and check out their support site. Get the latest verison if you want it to work for you. Moved Office 2k, all my email, and several appliacations, that I didn't have CD's for. You can't beat bob.

Review: Bought v4, but had to download upgrade for it to work. Then had to call to get new key, then again to get auth #. Took 40 min to determine what to transfer on old computer. Another 40 min to transfer to new computer using TCP/IP direct connect. However, many of the programs would not work. Had to remove Office XP and reload. This took less time then trying to transfer the Office programs that would not work. Better to re-load programs and use XP transfer wizard to transfer your settings. Customer support was marginal.

Review: Hi all, I just finished buying a Dell Dimension 2300 (great machine) for my dad in Ohio. He had an old Packard Bell PC with 80MB of RAM and two hard drives (I added one three years ago for extra storage). Anyway, ran PC Relocator Ultra on it via TCP/IP (yeah, I set up a small network to speed things up, but with USB now in the box you don't have to) and did a relocation in 30 minutes. All his e-mail, files (docs and spreadsheets), programs (Intuit TurboTax comes to mind, and Office 2000), settings (desktop wallpaper image and more), etc., all transferred flawlessly. There is NO DOUBT these folks are the migration industry KINGS! Don't trust anybody else with your digital personality!! Trust "Bob" instead.

Summary: Bob is a Lifesaver!
Review: I had used previous versions of Alohabob in the past, but this is the best. Now I could pick specific applications to move from one PC to another. What a time saver.

Review: I would have never been able to find all of my original program disks to reload all of my software on my new computer. It took a while with the parallel cable, but without it I would have lost some of my favorite applications.

Review: I've tried numerous products, Desktop DNA, Detto Intellimover and even 3.0 of Alohabob. None of those products did exactly what I needed it to do. PC Relocator 4.0 met my expectations completely. If you need to move stuff from your old pc to your new pc and don't have the time to do everything manually, definitely buy this product

Review: Not only did i have to undo (which still left my computer a mess), but the "returns" agent was one of the most rigid, abusive, nasty people I've ever had to deal with.
