Summary: Personal use customer
Review: Customer service is terrible. Should be zero stars. The Anti virus program is provided by a third party who's service is no longer online at the time of this message. It has been nearly a week of trying to register my software with no success. They never return email messages. In my opinion, the anti virus part of the software package is a rip off. The WinCleaner One Click is nice and easy to use. Not worth the bundle price. I am switching back to Norton.

Summary: Average...Nothing that you couldnt do yourself
Review: I really am not that involved with computers and software, so if there is a better product than this, I don't know about it. I have a PC from 1999 and had never cleaned the hard drive in 3 years, and a lot of problems had built up. Wincleaner 2002 got my PC back up and running properly in less than half an hour. I thought I would have to buy a new computer because of all the problems I was having, but thankfully Wincleaner took care of things and saved me the trouble. I just love this program. Once a week, I use it to wipe out all the cookies and internet clutter my PC picks up...and it removed several startup errors that were confusing my PC that I never even realized were there. It's really a great value for what it can do for you - and it's a program you can also let friends borrow when they are having trouble with their PCs. That's how I heard about Wincleaner, and I liked it so much I bought my own copy and have been so glad that I did. It's easy to use, once installed takes just one click from you to solve all your problems, and can restore your PC to its former, almost-new glory. What can be better than this? If anyone knows of a better product, please let me know about it...because this is the best PC cleaner I have seen.

Review: It's not a bad program if you dont know a thing about computers...but it doesnt really do anything that you couldnt do within Windows anyway. It cleans temporary files, internet files, and cookies (both easily removed manually within the "internet options" tab), cleans the registry of clutter (supposedly) and erases file histories in Windows Media Player, etc. I would be wary though of the changes it makes to your registry, and which files that it considers "junk." After running those respective cleaners, I noticed quite a few programs behaving strangely (missing graphics and such on an XP system.) Luckily there is an undo feature so you can reverse potentially harmful changes; in my case I restored the changes and no harm was done. Also what I found peculiar, is that after every time you run the registry cleaner it finds a suspicious amounf of registry errors...even if you just ran it 5 seconds ago. The uninstaller program is virtually useless, it just uses the chosen program's bundled uninstall program. After using the uninstaller and all of the cleaners, I still found numerous remnants of uninstalled programs left behind. It doesnt really do all it claims it can, and I just dont trust its judgement of my registry and junk files. Before buying, I would seriously recommend you try and learn how to do these tasks within Windows yourself and save money...and a potential problem with your system.

Summary: Does the job with ease
Review: My son and a friend of his have used this product on Windows 98. Their machines had slowed down so badly they thought they would have to buy new ones.
After running Winclean they both could not believe that their machines were running like new again. They obliviously had let things go way to long.I run the product on Windows XP and it does a very effective job of cleaning everything, including the registry. The only problem I ever had was Norton Anti-virus not scanning e-mail in and out after a registry cleaning. In all fairness they do warn of such problems being possible. You can replace the last registry clean and solve whatever problems do occur. This doesn't happen every time. When it does I reverse only the registry files. All the rest are still removed. Effective product. I recommend it highly. There are other products that will do similar services for you but this is certainly easy to use.
