Rating: Summary: Very Dissapointing! Review: Well,I bought this CD player over 6 months ago and despite its bulky appearance don't be fooled into believing that this thing can "take a lickin and keep on tickin." I used to have an old $50 Sony discman that lasted me a good two years before it quit working on me, so I went out and bought this new one. I use this player about 6 times a week, bringing it with me to my Gold's Gym, I have definitely torchered it by dropping it occasionally from a tread mill or stair climber. The unit always worked fine until last week when it finally broke down on me and does not even spin the CD's anymore. So much for a sports cd player, this thing didn't even last as long as its much cheaper brother. However, the durability of this CD player was not the only complaint I have. The headphones themseleves are horrible, you can barely hear anything out of them. The imaging of the music was also not very good. It was almost as if I was listening to music through a bathroom door. In addition, this thing skips too much! My ESP cd player did a better job and this CD player and this is supposed to have ESP2... Anyway, I am buying the new headshock Panasonic CD player, which I hear is more durable and provides better skip control. I like Sony products, but I will stay away from there DiscMans.
