Summary: This is a great clock
Review: I purchased this great Sony CD/Radio/Alarm Clock for my office. It works perfect as an office clock as the LED display is rather large and easy to read from across the room. The radio gets surprisingly good reception and my CD's sound great. It's pretty small in size, so fits perfect on my desk too.

In fact, I like this little Sony so much, that I purchased a white one for home use. It's a great alarm clock that is easy to set. You can have two different times programmed in, which works out perfect for the days I wake up early to go to the gym.

If you need an alarm clock or a portable CD player, this would be a great choice.

Summary: Everything I expected
Review: I won't go into the features, others have already commented on those.

Pros:
- Very good sound
- Good reception
- great features
- brighntess control
- 2 alarms

Cons:
- no battery backup
- the CD cover latching mechanism looks a bit flimsy.
- There is a squeal as CDs start to play (just the CD player reading the CD.) This sometimes wakes me up before the CD starts playing and is quite loud.
- There is a loud beep when you set the alarms.
- I don't care for the teen-age color scheme and the large "Psyc," written on the top. Would have been better if it was just all black.

Overall it's a good alarm clock and would probably buy another one if I had to, although I might test a few others to see they also had the squealing as the CD starts.

Summary: It's just a clock-radio, but hey;
Review: this thing is nice. The nap timer and the 2 preset alarm times are especially handy, and the sound is surprisingly decent too. Well worth my 50 bucks.

Summary: Not the best ALARM clock. But a nice looking cd player.
Review: When you need to get up, you need to know that the alarm clock will go off and won't blink 12:00am at 9am after a power outage, or anything like that.

There is NO BATTERY BACKUP! Keep this in mind if you are using it as a bedside clock. In an office, it's fine, but it's not the wisest design having an alarm clock with no battery back up.
The only protection it has is a 60 second clock memory. So if you're power outage goes on longer than 60 seconds...don't expect to make it to work/class on time.

It looks nice though, and is an attractive clock/cd/radio... but that's about it.
