Summary: Forget that your tragically hip and don't buy this cd player
Review: I bought this player to replace a Magnavox cd player which I had for about 9 years. There is no digital deflation here. What Virgin offers is not much in improved technology, this thing has a terrible skip potection which works sometimes as long as you don't move, the headphones sound good as long as they stay in your ears. This thing burns through batteries fairly quickly.
But the most annoying feature is the skip protection not working consistently. In a weak moment I bought this thing knowing that one should buy a brand with good reliability such as Panasonic which even out does Sony. Forget the hipness appeal and buy from a company who actually makes electronics.

Review: I give the virgin pulse walkman a raiting of 4 out of 5 stars. The virgin pulse CD player is small and portable. It has good sound quality, but it uses batteries to fast. i put new batteries in it two days ago and it already needs new ones. The advetizing said the walkman was skip proof but that is not true. Sometimes, even when it is siting on a flat surface, it will ship.

Review: I got this CD player from my sister on Christmas. The first thing bad about this product was the packaging. I couldn't open it up. Anyway when I put on a cd the laser scanner that reads the discs took forever to play, and I took it back and wanted my money returned. But I couldn't and got a new one. It's better but the product is still lacks something. I hate the earphones, it always falls out and the wired remote is totally useless. I guess this is CD player is passable because of the music i listen to. METALLICA!

Review: I think this is an awesome walkman. Super sleek design. I was surprised reading that some people think the batteries run out fast, because mine last very long even with the long amount of times I use it. The one thing I dislike about it is the earbuds. They slip out of your ears very easily. I would suggest having another pair to use with it if you are annoyed by stuff like that! But overall, I really love it.

Summary: I owned it for 4 months and already problems!
Review: I thought I was buying a good player from a great company. NOT SO TRUE! The player button will not work and the player will not cut off so it used up the battaires. I have been so careful with the player but that does not matter when it was not made very well to start with. If you have money to throw away or just want something else to put in the old closet then buy it. If you want a good CD player buy something else. Sorry for the bad review I really thought I was buying something I would get to use to a long time. Good Luck.

Review: I'm really surprised by the negative reviews for this product. I'm not an expert on portable cd players, but this one is a HUGE improvement on the Sony I had previously owned. Totally recommend.

Review: If you are considering buying this CD player i urge you to rethink and do not buy it. I bought this CD player for my b-day ,... my family not having a lot of money, this was the only thing i got. I was very excited to get a new CD player since i hadn't had one for a while. Music is a big part of my life. Well,...this Cd palyer didn't even last me a week!!! when i pushed the volume button once....just once it kept till it reached a volume of 32, which was the hightest it could go! UGHH .... and it wouldnt wrk when i tried to skip a song ,....it skipped every song. The only thign i got for my bday was well nothing.i didnt keep the receipt so i coudlnt tkae it back ...

Review: This is not a good CD walkman EVEN if it is by Virgin. Though it may look cool in the photo, it isn't. The color is dreadful, the covering looks and feels weak(like you could drop it and it would break right away.), the earbuds is annoying, the remote is not that handy, it is too big and take up space, and the hand strap makes the CD walkman look even worst. ALSO, THE SOUND QUALITY IS HORRIBLE. TO SUM IT UP, DO NOT BUY THIS PLAYER!!!! You wonder why this CD walkman is so cheap? BECAUSE IT IS A CHEAP AND WEAK PLAYER!! GO GET A SONY CD WALKMAN IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD QUALITY PLAYER!!! Sony CD walkman are more stronger, the sounds are AMAZING, and just go check out Sony instead.

Review: this is the best cd player of all time!!!!!!!! the anti-shock is the best of any cd players that i've had in the past!! i've been dirt biking with it and i've never heard a skip yet! the remote is extremely helpful if u don't wanna carry around the cd player, but even if u do wanna carry it around, it comes with an attachable hand strap so it's like ur barely holding it!!it's very light and compact and i'm still using the batteries it came w/ and i've had it for more than a year!!!

Review: when i first got this i wasnt expecting it to be super fabulous or anything. i just needed a CD player for a trip that included a long car ride. over all i think this is a pretty good CD player. i dont like the earbuds but i never liked any of those kind that actually go in your ears because they can hurt sometimes. also in the beginning it would say that it had a low battery after it had been on for a while and i pressed play. but it would blink and go away and it would still work. i think the coolest thing about this is that it has two earphone jacks. really useful. but yeah overall its pretty good.
