Memorex's MD6250 portable CD player delivers a solid feature suite in a sleek design. Its 20-second antiskip buffer guards against interruptions from jolting or bouncing. Playback modes include track or disc repeat, and you can search forward and back. An easy-to-read LCD shows CD track and time, as well as play functions. It runs on two AA alkaline batteries that support play for six hours with antiskip off and up to three and a half hours with antiskip on. A low-battery indicator alerts you when you're due for a battery change. Memorex also includes translucent, adjustable, over-the-head headphones. The MD6250 is covered by a 90-day parts and labor warranty.
