Action's MP3-CD-compatible ACN-1100 is a perfectly compact and affordable CD player for home or travel. Playback options include generous 64-track programming, 400-second anti-skip protection during MP3 playback (a full minute for audio CDs), and a bass-boost circuit for enhancing your music's low frequencies. MP3 compatibility extends to discs with 128 directories and up to 630 files with bit rates ranging from 8 kbps to near-CD-quality 320 kbps. A broad (30 x 57 mm) dot-matrix display shows artist and track title information through ID3 tags, and an auxiliary output lets you listen to your music through your home system through a stereo "Y" interconnect (supplied). A hold switch prevents unintended interruptions in playback and saves batteries by negating playback when the player is stopped. Included for your listening pleasure are stereo headphones and a battery-saving 4.5-volt AC-DC adapter. The player runs for six to eight hours on two AA batteries (also supplied).
