Rating: Summary: Sony Psyc Review: i had this discman 2 or 3 yrs ago, i paid about 30 bucks for it, it was perfect...absolutly wonderful, looked great, was able to play CDs scratched beyond recognition, had a waist band and never skipped when i joggged with it
my mom warned me and warned me not to leave it in the car, but being young and busy i did....and one day my mom left it unlocked and some neighborhood kids stole it
i never ever ever got over it, i dream of it often, i called sony to see if they could find me one, the lady said its no longer made but it was the best discman sony has/will ever make
I cannot wait to get my hands on another one.
Rating: Summary: Oustanding Review: I have had this player for 4years and running. its been through hell and back. I keep it as my back-up now when I find out the hard way I might add that these new players just don't cut it.
Rating: Summary: AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL Review: I have the D-EG7 silver discman. It is the worst money I ever spent. Because the stupid thing skips like a chronic disease, I am constantly hitting it to get it to work correctly (a rarity). I am about to invest in a new cd player, and you can bet that it WILL NOT BE A SONY.
Rating: Summary: GREAT! Review: I've been looking for one for over a year! They have great sound quality, and they look sooooooooooo cool!I love it!
Rating: Summary: Mmmmmm shiny! hehe Review: My mom and dad tried for *months* to get me this discman, but Sony told them it was out of stock since about...June 1999. However, there's an identical model which is metallic silver called the Sony D-EG7, which came out mid/late 1999. It still features the adjustable strap and these great street - style headphones that wrap behind your head. Overall, the construction of the D-EG3, being the same as the D-EG7, is GREAT. A bit of a battery muncher but otherwise, it offers great bass, killer anti - skip technology (even when I'm running to the bus in the morning!) and a great design which unfortunately attracts a bit too much attention in the big city. I've had mine nearly 2 years now, and it's still in great shape, even though I use it up to two hours a day, every day. Its construction and hard rubber base has helped it to stand being dropped, scratched, smashed between two steel doors, and even stepped on by a Rottweiler.

Rating: Summary: This Discman Kicks!!! Review: The Battery storage is inside of the Lid, and the Outside casing is a shock resistand Ruberised material. The Strap clips to the discman, handy for jogging, or just hanging out! The Controls are easy to operate, and the player runs on batteries for around 20 hours before you must replace them. Sony Rechargable batteries work best, and have a slightly longer life between charges than normal batteries.
Rating: Summary: This is not up to Sony's Standards Review: This cd plaer skips all the time even with esp2 on. it just totally sucks when it becomes continuous with the skipping. Skip skip skip skip skip, that's all it does, even with brand new cd's.
Rating: Summary: Good things come in small packages!! Review: This discman is great! I've had mine for about 2 and a half years and it is still working as well as it did the first day I got it! Along with it's cool design and great sound quality, it has some very convinient features. It comes with a carry strap so you can strap it around your shoulder which saves you the inconvinience of carrying it. It also has a feature that lets you stop the discman (instead of pausing it) so you can answer the phone or do something else, without losing your spot on the CD. The ESP anti-skip protection really works: this discman rareley skips, so you can always hear the deep bass and treble of the music. Just recently, I replaced the headphones that come with the discman (which are actually quite good, dispite the distortion of the sound when you turn the volume up past 7) with a pair of wraparound-style headphones. They're very nice, exept, they deliver almost the same sound as the other ones. Over all this a really great discman. I would reccomend it to all of my friends.
