Rating: Summary: Great Color! Review: Every where I go, people ask me where I got this CD player. It is an unusual bronze metallic color that is a lot different than any of the other players. I like the way it sounds and it comes with all the accessories including the car kit.

Rating: Summary: Great for the road! Review: Great sound and anti-skip is excellent! Doesn't even skip in my husband's hot rod truck! Could use a little more volume. Headphones are also good. Excellent value for this item considering it comes with a car kit! Highly recommended!

Rating: Summary: The Rock Review: I agree with what everyone else is saying about this cd player. Good sound, decent features, good anti-skip. I also wanted to stress how durable this player is. I've had it for about THREE AND A HALF YEARS now. During this time I've dropped it on cement, off the top of bunk beds, you name it... All buttons and features still work flawlessly. The case isn't even cracked. I was waiting till this thing stopped working to justify buying a mp3 player, but I'm tired of waiting. Phillips has me sold.

Rating: Summary: L.A. Freeways Review: I have had this product for about a month now and love it. I drive daily on the Los Angeles 5 Fwy, which is pothole infested freeway that consist of alot traffic and breaking at any moment. This little gadget does not miss a beat through all the potholes, railroad tracks, and slamming of the brakes. I have also shook it while playing a cd just to test it out and it still does not skip. This is one of the most important features I was looking for in a portable cd player. I have yet to try it out while jogging, but I am sure it will sustain the beating. I love this cd player and highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: Jogproof it ain't! Review: I like this player, the sound is good, it's light, it's compact. There's just that one niggling, hardly-worth-mentioning, thing - it's just not "jogproof". Go running with it and it'll skip or, even more likely, stop playing all together. A shame really.

Rating: Summary: Totally skip-proof in the car. Review: I purchased this unit for my company car since I'm not allowed to install an in-dash unit. My old cd player skipped endlessly; older technology. Well this thing never skips; ever. I keep it on the passenger seat. Not only does it never skip; once I had to slam on the brakes and the whole unit flew (literally) onto the floor. It never skipped a beat. It just kept on playing. Also, the unit makes electronic "beaps" when you press a button, which is handy in the car when you don't want to take your eyes off the road but appreciate the confirmation. Also, the unit has a "resume" feature which picks up the cd where you left off; even when power to the unit ceases (like when you turn off the engine). In other words, it saves your place. This is especially handy for people who listen to recorded books. Also, the car kit works great.
Rating: Summary: A Huge Disappointment Review: I used to have what i believe was the older version of this model (the top was completely opaque and the buttons were small circles). I was very very pleased with that one, until i lost it. This one, on the other hand, couldn't even compare. The resume resumes from where ever the player wants, not necessarily where you left off. Sometimes, it simply refuses to read a track, but spends minutes trying. The unit skips for no apparent reason, even when i'm not moving it. The final kicker was when i dropped it (no more than 2 feet), the top came off, and even though i was able to snap it back in with no apparent physical damage, it no longer works at all...
