Summary: car ok; home, maybe not . . .
Review: ------- right out of the box it worked intuitively in my car.

in thehouse, however, it would only play if i held the play button down:obviously an unacceptable option. 'course i was trying to use the CARadapter in the house. silly me !

i called panasonic (who answeredrelatively promptly) who said i needed a "continuous tape" adapter(which wasn't included . . .) but which radio shack would know aboutas soon as i started talking to them. which they didn't.

why didn'tpanasonic offer to send me one ?

bummer.

works great. disappointedme in not being able to read my mind... and not being able to do whati wanted: car AND house . . . panasonic should have alertedme.

which, of course, they had. right there in the directions itshowed the adapter i needed and where to plug it in. i HATE feelingstupid !

the adapter radio shack sold me was the one i had needed(right from the start). why wasn't it in the package ?

you won'tregret buying this quality product nor will you have any trouble - ifyou read the directions . . . (which are in perfectly legible english, with nice, clear illustrations.)

Summary: It's a good player, but don't drop it!
Review: After my crummy Sony Discman broke two years ago, I tried this Panasonic model. Let me tell you, it has good bass, the batteries don't suck up that much power, ESP is long and it's pretty compact and lightweight. Looks good too with the silver. However, if you are a little rough with it, it might not play another day. I dropped this puppy several times in the first two months. After one big drop exiting my dorm, it could never play again since the plasic hinge broke off, thus making the CD door harder to close. I couldn't play it anymore! I gave it two stars because of it's lack of durrability. It's a great player, but be VERY careful with it!

Summary: i love it, except for one tiny flaw
Review: everything on this player is perfect- sound, design, features. There is only one problem, the cassette thing that is part o the car adapter squeaks so much! Unless you put the volume really high, it can get pretty annoying.

Summary: INCOMPATIBLE WITH FORD VEHICLES
Review: FORGET ABOUT USING THE CASSETTE ADAPTER WITH A FORD VEHICLE, I TRIED MANY TIMES INSERTING THE ADAPTER INTO THE PLAYER BUT IT KEPT EJECTING WITH AN ERROR CODE OF ONE. I CALLED PANASONIC AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD NOT OPERATE PROPERLY AND I SHOULD BUY A CASSETTE ADAPTER FROM RADIO SHACK. THIS I DID ONLY TO FIND THAT THE UNITS EARPHONE JACK DOES NOT MAKE A PROPER CONNECTION. P.S. DON'T DO WHAT I DID OR IT COULD DAMAGE YOUR CARS CASSETTE PLAYER.IT LEFT MINE WITH ALMOST NO AUDIO OUTPUT ON THE LEFT CHANNEL.

Summary: Everything is above satisfactory except....
Review: Great CD player BUT. mine will not play burned CD-R while the antishock protection is on. of course, this might be an isolated problem with my CD burner. just keep this in mind. bye now.

Summary: Great CD Player
Review: Great Cd player! It has a great anti-shock function, protable it will fit into a backpack or a bib/cargo pocket. It is easy to program and sounds great! It of coarse comes with cheap headphones I would suggest buying some better ones. It is heat resistant. I have experienced no problems with it, no skipping and no bad play back. Mine also played CD-r/RWs. It has a great S-XBS function too!

Summary: Gets the job done
Review: I bought this based on other reviews and am more than satisfied with its performance. Driving a small car, I really have no room to mount a cd player, and this one _never_ misses a beat. I keep it in the seat next to me when I am alone and I throw it in the center console when I have company. The anti skipping works swimmingly. And it comes with all you need to turn your car stereo from a crappy tape player to a mediocre cd player (this is based on my crappy stereo and speakers... individual results may vary.) No complaints here, only praise.

Summary: Best portable CD player I've owned yet!
Review: I bought this CD player based on its price and also the rave reviews other Amazon shoppers wrote. I am not disappointed! It's small, lightweight and the quality is high. It has not skipped yet, either. The headphones leave a little to be desired, but I already had a nicer pair anyway. Highly recommended! (P.S. Panasonic seems to make better personal electronics than Sony, in my humble opinion and from my experience.)

Summary: GREAT FOR THE CAR
Review: I bought this CD player for my mother, who has never owned a CD in her life. She jogs and also has a tape player in her car so i bought the Jogger with the car hook-up. She has not stopped raving about it! She can't believe the improvement in the sound quality. So if you are looking for a good car hook-up and are worried that the sound won't be good, I will vouch that it is at the very least an improvement from a tape player. Her car is a 98 and in good condition so that may help the sound quality. I read a review saying that the sound quality was terrible, but I have to say that was probably an old car with a bad tape player. Also, you can't expect a portable CD player with a car hook-up to sound as good as a regular full sized CD player, especially for $70. For the quality and price i give it 4 stars.

Summary: Very nice product
Review: I bought this product because I need a CD player with anti-shock shock. I found this one is with enough buffering memory for 40 secs within pretty good price range. But after using it for over a month, the most impressive feature which really amazes me is its power utilization. I use a very normal battery(not named brand), but it seems to me that I do not need to change my battery for a month...This CD player really does not consume the power as much as my old CD player. Highly recommend.
