Summary: A good buy
Review: I have owned two portable cd players by Casio, and this is my latest buy. After owning terrible players made by both sony and panasonic, I have been happy with the quality of sound produced by casio. This latest effort in the CD department is a worthy buy.I can shake the darn thing as much as I want, and its 40 sec antiskip holds true. As well, it is well designed, and esthetically pleasing. The buttons are great, and you can program stuff fairly easy. THe only downside I would say would be the not-so-great headphones included. They are pretty chinsy, so I just use my Kose ones. The silver-blue colour is great too! anyways, I recommend this highly, get it!

Summary: Casio Doubtful Buy
Review: I used to be a Casio fan from way back in the 60's but during the last 10 years I have become disillusioned with this company's inability to produce anything worthwhile and this is no exception.I burnt my fingers very badly on a Cassiopeia E-15 where the touchscreen was scratched in a couple of weeks. The PZ4000B is no better and goes straight in the dustbin as there is no such thing as customer service when it comes to Casio. I wrote to their German Office (as none of their offices in Finland would even look in my direction) and there was not even an acknowledgement. My advice - stay well away from Casio products!!

Summary: You get what you pay for
Review: I've owned this CD player for 5 months. It used to work fine. A little slow, but fine. Now it is a real cause for celebration when it plays a CD, which is about 30% of the time. I put in a CD and it flashes "Er" which I assume means error. Sometimes it works on the second try, other times it needs a 24 hour rest. It was never dropped, exposed to heat, cold or any such thing. It just stopped working one day. Saving $10 is not worth this headache. I should have known from the price that this was a piece of junk.

Summary: Amazing CD-Player...Not Without Flaws
Review: Sure, Casio is a less notable Japanese company than Sony, but they did get my attention with this stylish, yet functional CD-player package. The fact that it's a Casio product made me consider it more closely, though; I'm a nut for companies that people don't like! This handy, easy-grip player not only looks great, but delivers great sound. I noticed, also, that instead of providing the promised 45 seconds of shock-resitance, that is provided me with perpetual shock-protection [perpetual means protection that doesn't stop, kids]. For the money, though, I'd expect Casio to include an AM/FM tuner. I mean, you're not always going to have CD's with you on a 9-hour trip to London. But then again, you wouldn't want to tune into British radio, anyway. All things considered, I'd suggest you definitely make this the mobile part of your home-audio system.

Review: The CD player is excellent. The 40 seconds digital shock guard is the best. You could hit it and drop it and it will not skip. The Bass boost is great. Light weight and easy to use. This is the best CD player to get if you are getting one.

Summary: Good CD Player For the Price
Review: This CD Player is a great player for the price. It has great features such as the 20 song programmable memory and the 40 second anti shock. The memory works great and it allows me to program the playlist I want for a jog or a car trip. The 40 second anti shock works well for small bumps such as ones in a car, but does not work well for ones you would experience while jogging. It plays smoothly for about 10 seconds while running, but begins to skip after that. Another thing I like about this player is its cool design. It has a transparent blue color case that allows you to see the cd while it plays. This player also plays burned CD's very well. The headphones on this player are not tremendous. The sound is allright but the headphones are almost impossible to get to stay on your head while doing any physical activity. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a quality cd player without the high price. If you are looking for anti-skip protection while jogging I would look elsewhere. Review: This Cd player is great to listen with. The volume is real loud and it has all the play options you need for great listening. This cd player does skip a lot though. Unless your holding it real still in your hand it skips all over the place. I bought this one because I didn't want to pay 100+dollars for a cd player when all I use it for is the bus on the way to my basketball games. So if you decide to buy it you had better be ready to hold it in your hand the whole time.
