Summary: Waste of your time/money
Review: I purchased one of these and was extremely disappointed. I returned after less than a week. Why?1) It skips very frequently. 2) I didn't realize it used FOUR batteries instead of two. And it doesn't last any longer than a good CD player using two batteries. 3) The sound is essentially analog quality sounds. 4) The headphones don't sound good and they aren't comfortable. 5) The whole just feels cheap and flimsy. 6) The carry case is useless. So there you go. Buyer Beware.

Review: I, too, purchased this CD player for my 8 year old daughter. I am really impressed with the sound quality for the price. If you plan to leave this player stationary (on a desk, etc.), I think you will be more then pleased. Also, it's an excellent gift for a young child, who doesn't need a top-of-the-line player. The price is VERY reasonable, and the unit is straightforward and easy to use.

Review: If you want a cd player better spend a few extra bucks on a major namebrand product. I received this cd player yesterday and I'm returning it today. How bad could it be? Man, this is really a cheap and inferior product. The cd would skip frequently the track it was playing; there is a lot of static in the sound;it has low volume; and it has the cheapest construction in the world. You gotta be extremely careful when inserting a cd. The arm where the cd holder sits (i believe the lens runs along this part) will considerably move downwards to the slightest force. I agree with Bruce from NY. I don't want this cd player even for free. After returning this product I purchased a Sony cd player. Sure it was more expensive, but is working fine. Believe me, you'll regret purchasing this Memorex MD3020 cd player.

Summary: Don't Let the Price Fool You
Review: Just because you are not paying a $100 for a portable CD player doesn't mean you are not getting the quality. This thing beats all but Philips Magnavox and Aiwa portable CDs and far outpaces Sony with skip control. Just goes to show that the high price guys are making a big margin on name.
