Rating: Summary: review for panasonic portable cd player Review: I love this CD player. One thing I don't really use is the jogger belt because it doesn't have the support needed for the CD player. Also I've had my CD player since they year 2000, my headphones just started to go out so i can't use them anymore. But the antiskip is good.
Rating: Summary: the best player ever Review: i love this system. aside from all the features this system comes with, this player has an awesome design and the headphones play really well, but are silent to others (which is really good if you listen to music in class like me). Also, to the reviewer from Austin - a few days after I got this player, i realized that the singing wasn't coming out well, but the music played fine. of course, i discovered that this was my fault. when i was putting the headphone jack into the player, i didn't push it in until i heard the second click (like the instructions say to do). after i figured that out, the system played fine again.
Rating: Summary: Garbage Review: I obught this cd player thinking it would live up to the hype. and the money, but after a week, panasonic's little niches began to occur. it started stopping my cd's and would jerk around. not playing. i thought this is garbage.
Rating: Summary: An awesome cd player Review: I've had one of these for about a year and it's the best cd player I've had in my entire life. You can drop the thing and it won't skip. I'd recommend this to anyone who isn't exactly the nicest person to their electronics cause I've dropped mine a few times and it hasn't been damaged at all.
Rating: Summary: great sound quality Review: i've tried them all with my great Grado headphone, and i find that panasonic has the purest sound out of all the portable cd.
Rating: Summary: Best antiskip I have found. Review: If held in your hand it will not skip at all; may skip occasionally under some circumstances if placed in a belt. Slightly thicker than the smallest discmen, but rugged construction. Has both headphone and line out.
Rating: Summary: The best sound! Review: Of the numerous CD players I've owned over the years, this is far and away the best. I hear things in familiar music that I've never heard before. I take it with me biking and it performs under all conditions without skipping. Highly recommended!
Rating: Summary: Misleading Battery Info Review: One reason I bought this CD was because of the rechareable battery feature. What they don't tell you is in plain English is that you need special Ni-Cd batteries. It took me four stores and $20 dollors later to find them. I bought the Radio Shack brand. I put them in and naturally, they don't work. After a call to Panasonic, I find out you have to use only Panasonic brand Ni-CD batteries which are available in about 10 stores nationwide. You have to order them through Panasonic for an additional $13. Buy another brand that is designed with the consumer in mind and parts that are widely available.
Rating: Summary: Simply Awesome Review: Panasonic is the leader in futuristic electronics. The Panasonic Shockwave CD Player represents the future standard for portable digital audio. The unit has excellent anti-skip technology. The 40 second anti-skip buffer is more than enough to absorb any pounding you can give it. I use mine on the road, in the car, running, you name it. ***NO SKIPS***. Also the unit is made with a super strong poly-carbonate body so it can also withstand lots of tough environments including heat. The sound quality is excellent and the XBS bass boost gives your music more muscle. The headphones included sound great and have a deep pounding bass. You even get an AC adapter (purrrfect!!!). Its loaded with neat features including Program Play, Random, Resume, a built in battery charger -NEAT!!!-, you can even turn off the futuristic anti-skip technology and save battery power if you wish. This is the CD Player I only used to dream of. Now its here. If don't have a Panasonic Shockwave CD Player, you need one.
Rating: Summary: opposite of bad Review: this cd player is so wicked awsome. it never skips and has great sound. you could pound on it all you want and it will hardly ever skip. if you were looking for an exelent cd player for less than 200 dollars, this is the one to get. it has so many neat features and it says sorry when it does skip.
