Summary: WOW! A very rewarding purchase!
Review: I can not express how happy I am with the purchase of this CD player. I purchased it with much skepticism due to the fact that there was no picture or any reviews for it. I could not resist built in speakers. As I received it, the speakers are actually fairly high quality and the sound quality is great. The headphones are comfortable and they produce great sound as well. The bass boost has two levels, both are very high quality and do not cause distortion at any volume level, even when I plugged in my headphone amplifier. I definitely must say that this CD player is everything I could ask for until the next generation of MP3 CD players arrive.

Summary: Poor operating instructions
Review: I have has previous cd players (various brands) with programability, however that feature either never worked right or the operating insructions were impossible to figure out. This unit has excellant sound and antiskip but I gave up trying to figure out how to use the programming feature. An e-mail to the manufacturer for help was never responded to.

Summary: Smooth and Easy
Review: I love this product! The built in speakers are one of the best features on a discman I've ever seen! They make it so easy, with them you don't have to bother with headphones, others can listen with you and you don't have to buy those separate wirery speakers. It also has other standard great features.

Summary: I have a question about this pro. not ans. on review
Review: I walk and like to play my cd's. Can you play this while walking. I have made a shoulder keeper for the purpose of placing a cd player in it when I walk. Will the motion of walking interfer w/this player? Please reply. Ann Carter-Combee

Summary: It was exactly what I wanted!
Review: I was looking for a small CD player with external speakers and an anti-shock feature so I could put it in the handlebar bag of my bicycle. At first, I wasn't sure 40 seconds of anti-shock would be enough for bicycling (on what is frequently rough pavement) but it has been flawless. If it is playing in a room, the speakers aren't great, but for my purposes they are the perfect thing. The sound is vastly improved when wearing earphones, but that is too dangerous while bicycling - I save that for when I'm at home. There wasn't a lot of choice for players with external speakers and I was so pleased this worked out so well.

Summary: bass isn't everything
Review: i was very happy with this purchase...its a great cd player with lots of cool stuff...i love the train option for when im on the bus or in a car (with people who get really anoyed when people have thier disc man turned up to loud) because it makes it sound a whole lot quieter to them with out chnging the volume for you. and the speakers have very good sound...it may not have very much bass, but it has very high quality sound...some other good features it has is the auto power shut off so it doesent waste your battries...it also has an anti shock of 40 seconds, and beleive me you dont need any more than that! this thing will just not skip!!! it also has a very long battry life so you can keep listning for a long time and not go through alot of battries. so all in all this is a very impresive cd player.. i would recomend it to every one out there looking for a great portable cd player at a great price (right now you can get it for like ... bucks!!! canadian!!! origanal ...$)

Summary: Skip City
Review: I've owned this model for 6 months and, due to its failsafe operation and unique speaker feature, have used it practically every day. It was both the brand (Panasonic has always impressed me as the best combination of quality and value) and the internal speaker feature that made this weightless, miniature frisbee practically irresistable. Small enough to fit in either front pocket, just powerful enough to reach my ears without infringing on the territory of others, this is the only musical partner that can make me dance--or at least do a brisk walk every day. Face it, headphones can be a drag, not only requiring constant adjustment but sealing off the world around you. Moreover, as a musician I don't require virtual reality, thunderous bass frequencies, or enhanced sound to be able to appreciate musical "content." Final testimonial--I've dropped this on cement and taken a header with it. Not only was I not separated from cumbersome headphones, but the machine never missed a beat!

Summary: It does its job great... just a few things I would fix..
Review: It's great! The volume is actually better than I expected, and it isnt all that bulky. I find it very satisfying, and good for ocasions when music for you or for everyone are just what the doctor ordered. (like waiting in line for then hours, on long car trips when they stole the radio, or just play it out loud during lunch for you and your friends at school)
The only very minor things I notice are;
-it doestn let you know how much battery you have left until youve almost run out.
-I never did quite get the "hang on the wall" screww in thing, so I put a strap there to hang it off my wrist instead.
- I really didnt like the earphones it included so I bought new ones.
