Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS SUCKS
Review: I BOUGHT THIS CD PLAYER,,THEN I LISTENED TO IT FOR LESS THEN AN HOUR, THE NEXT DAY I TURNED IT ON, AND IT DIDN'T WORK!!! OH AND ANOTHER THING, THEY CALL THOSE HEADPHONES "STYLISH" THEY ARE JUNK!! AFTER 30 MINUTES YOUR EARS ARE KILLING, AND YOU CANNOT LAY DOWN WHEN YOU ARE WEARING THEM. IT IS ALSO VERY DISCRIMINATORY AGAINST WOMEN WITH LONG HAIR BECAUSE THEY DONT WORK UNLESS YOUR HAIR IS IN A PONYTAIL!!!! SONY IS JERKS AND NEVER BUY FROM THEM!!!

Summary: Very Nice
Review: I love it! Just got it yesterday, too. IT's a bit exensive, I guess, but it looks REAL nice and operates pretty well, too. The headphone is also cool since you wear it on the back of your head, not the top. --This text refers to an alternate option.

Summary: Volume problems
Review: I just got this player and it's been nothing but frustration. The buttons are extremely small and closely spaced. The biggest flaw is the volume control. It's so sensitive, that if anything bumps the area of the volume control, it lowers the volume... even if you're just touching the casing near the VOL-. Also, it sticks on mute. The manual touches on this in the trouble shooting area, saying that if "The volume does not increase even if you press VOL+ repeatedly" you should "Press and hold SOUND until 'AVLS' disappears from the display". The problem is that the "AVLS" function doesn't have to be engaged for this volume issue to happen. The buttons are so sensitive & closely spaced that the VOL+ button sometimes works as the VOL- instead. In addition, this mute/volume issue can lock up all of the buttons since it's a completely digital product.

Unless you're planning to use the "hold" function continuously to keep the volume at a constant level, I'd avoid this product. --This text refers to an alternate option.

Summary: Do NOT buy Sony discmans!
Review: This discman looks decent, sounds pretty good, and works quite well. For a few months. I've had mine for about 4 months, and it has suddenly stopped working, seemingly for no reason. I thought this was quite strange (and lame, since I spent $50 on it), and then a friend of mine told me that he's owned a couple Sony discmans and they both stopped working after around 6 months of use.

In addition to this, the buttons are too small, and rather awkwardly placed. Contrary to what the label says, it is most certainly not skip-free, and will skip under several different sets of circumstances. And to top it all off, the battery life isn't 40 hours. Not sure exactly what it is, but it's definitely under the claimed 40 hrs. If you're thinking of buying a discman, do yourself a favour and get a Panasonic. They last forever, and look cooler to boot. --This text refers to an alternate option.

Summary: It was great, but skips slightly gouged cd-rs that a SonyDVD
Review: -Sony DVD player WILL play PERFECTLY!!!! I was angry, I ruined a CD-r ill have to copy a frinds CD again!! I like the 2X Bass B, and the Red on Blue dot's finish, I was so ready to trade it for a PSonic SL-SX420, and I may, but I like it so much now because it sounds 10X better than all $50 CD players out there now!!! It is ALL digital too, Ill keep this one!!!!! It doesnt skip when you run or drop 'er 3' or more!! Pros: Everything, but..
Cons: Is fussy with lightly gouged CD-rs and likes CD-rs burned at 8X ( :( ) ALOT more than 52X, 48X, 24X, Etc, i dunno why.
She's a keep'r, hey my birthdays TODAY!!!!! Approx 5 hrs before the 9/11 attack, except in '81, 20 years 'fore 01!!! Happy birthdaysuit to me!!!! ;) --This text refers to an alternate option.

Summary: The Best!
Review: This Cd Player is the best! It never skips a beat in any cd I play. It is very durable and light. The headphones are cool. It is cheap for a discman. No matter how hard you shake it, it won't skip.Anyway, I find this discman cool!!! --This text refers to an alternate option.

Summary: Ugly Duckling
Review: I really dislike the design. It's ugly. Also, the buttons are oddly placed, and really too small. Otherwise, this is a good little CD player, and like all of my Sony CD players in the past, it's sturdy, dependable, it portrays a stupid theme (Psye) and it's yellow.

As far as big-name cd players go, this is the cheapest of the best. Buy it.

P.S. The stock headphones, for once, [aren't bad]!!

Summary: Sony Psyc CD player
Review: Awsome CD player! Has up to 40 hrs of burn time on batteries. The bass is awsome too! It will not even distort when the bass is maxed on Closure by Chevelle! For those who do not know that song, it has LOTS of bass as well as being deep! It is very hard to skip it. The battery indicator is helpful as well. I like the loop on the cd player. You can get a clip and hook it to your belt loop! Over all, a great poduct and whould highly reccomend it to some anyone! --This text refers to an alternate option.
