Sony D-EJ2000 Ultra Slim CD Walkman

Summary: Decent But After time...
Review: When i first got this cd player it was great. It did everything right. The contorller is incredible and very useful (as the buttons are tiny and almost unpressable) Its slim, can easily fit into a pant pocket, the skipping is almost non existant, the sound quality is great. However, after a year, i started having disc read errors, for apparently no reason. This seems to be a common theme with Sony. I brought it in to repair under the warranty and it was partially fixed. After time though it went back to its state of not reading cds, it even wouldnt read some brand new cds fresh out of the packaging. So i brought it a second time, they repaired it (after some delay) and when i got it back...NO CD WOULD PLAY! not a single cd works...i bought a new cd took it out of the wrapper...placed it directly in the cd player and it wouldnt work. Ive spent hours on the phone with customer service...they absolutely refuse to replace my walkman, they say the warranty is only guaranteed for repair. Techinically they will repair your cd player 600 times before veen giving you a new one. The repairs have actually made this cd player worse.
I give this a 4 out of 10. The reason being it breaks much too easily (disk read errors are commong with Sony COUGH PS2 COUGH) although originally it was great...if you can get it fixed properly then i highly suggest this cd player, as its ultra small, good looking and effective. But as i said itbreaks easily...doesnt read some cds...and its a pain to get fixed.
