RCA RCD148 CD Boombox with MP3/WMA CD Playback

Review: works fine but cd/mp3 player makes lots of noise when playing mp3 data at low volumes,it's as loud as music, sounds like the stepper motor of the laser drive ?.the burst of sound makes its way through the speakers also. does not make the noise when playing a regular CD. I would look at other brands , I probably will return this one back to the store.
