Rating: Summary: Perfect Review: Everything you could ask for in a cd player, is right here! Sony is the most reliable CD Player known to man! It has a totally awesome design to it, with great features on it.For one, it is the best SKIP-Proof Protection ever! Instead on must CD players, like my old RCA Player which made you wait 45 seconds b4 the skip-proof was activated. This CD player, is so far the best cd player i've ever seen. With other colors like Blue/Green & Red, this is a must have! The headphones are good headphones, but not as good as the ones I bought. They are like the ones you place inside your ear, but in a regular headphone format, allowing ALL outside noices to go away. Yet the headphones included are still good, but not the best to deploy the sound. Well worth my money...

Rating: Summary: Just Bought It Review: Well, I just bought this cd walkman, and I have to say that when I took it out of the package, my first thoughts were, "I can't believe a thing this light cost me $. I'm going to take it back if the sound isn't really good." So I put in some batteries, and found out that for 50 dollars, the sound is excellent. It's incredibly light. I like the headphones, and they're of surprisingly good quality. So far as I can tell, this thing is very hard to get to skip. It seems like a very good deal, and I'm glad that I chose this one. I have no idea how it does in the long run, but in the last 30 minutes, it's run well (not that that means much). If you're looking for a light cd player with good sound quality that doesn't skip, this is the way to go. I gave it four stars because, first of all, it's great, but I also have no idea about its durability.
Rating: Summary: nice cd player Review: I have owned several cd players over the years, and this has got to be the best one yet. Great price and second-to-none quality. The whole "PSYC" theme is a little offbeat but it sure does sound good. For once you get a good set of stock headphones with your portable; usually the phones are [bad]. Also, this thing just will not skip. That is worth the [$$] dollars alone.

Rating: Summary: RED IZ RAD!! Review: I must confess I got this CD player #1 cuz it was red, #2 cuz it was a Sony. It plays very well and is easy to operate. I love it!! The only qualm I have, is that the headphones are too big for my head, and i'm not a small headed person, even though I like the street style behind the neck type.

Rating: Summary: great cd player Review: Discman has trouble playing in dry or hot climate...or at least mine does. It's really hot and dry here in California in the summer time with little or no breeze. I use the discman mostly in my car and it sometimes gets stuck in the middle of any track like it's paused or something (nothing is wrong with the cd). Very odd, me thinks. Other than that it plays well in colder tempatures.

Rating: Summary: good product at good price... Review: so far no problems, good CD player for a good price; many features and easy-to-use, no tricks or funny stuff; somewhat durable as well, it's taken a fair amount of abuse in my truck and still plays quite well
Rating: Summary: THE BEST CD PLAYER EVER!!! Review: I got this cd player about a month ago and all I have to say is that I never seen a better cd player for the price! The sound quality is unbelivable. There is a lot of bass and the sound is so clear! The features are awesome! It even has a new feature called bookmark mode. It also has shuffle, 1, repeat 1, and just regular playback, and some other cool features like resume, two step bass boost, digital volume, ALVS (which is kind of a waste) it is a mode that you can use if you want to let little kids hear it so they can't put it too loud so it will damage their hearing. I never use that though and I'm sure you won't either. It also comes with cool street style headphones and a psyc clip. The psyc clip is cool. You can attach it to your cd player and you can add a small keychain to it, and the headphones are great. I HIGHLY reccomend this cd player to anyone! It is the best cd player you can possibly get for the price! Also, the skip protection is unbelivable, It is impossible to make this cd player skip

Rating: Summary: Sony is nice, but don't buy this one Review: After having a Sony Walkman for 6 years, I finally decided it was time for another. The Sony Walkman I had before has been through everything - it's been dropped, flipped over, shaken, travelled all over the country, and despite being completely abused and missing most of its external parts, it still plays beautifully. (It just looks ugly and the batteries fall out.) So, I decided to retire the 1998 Walkman and received this Psych for Christmas. Despite being a cool colour and having nice sound, after about 2 months the hold button broke. I should have returned it then since it was still under warranty, but I held onto it because I was out of the country. Soon after I got back (and after my 3-month warranty was up) the CD player stopped working completely. I think I might have accidently gently dropped and it fell a very short distance - a drop that should not have done any damage to any halfway decent electronic - but it immediately stopped working and has never played again. The display scrolls through the songs but the CD simply does not spin anymore. One time I got it to spin but it played only about 30 seconds of the first track of the cd before it quit. I've tried everything - changing the batteries, trying different discs, but nothing works. I had someone who is good w/ electronics check it out but they couldn't find anything wrong and suggested I try a lens cleaner. I almost bought one of those $10 lens cleaners but after reading the reviews on here it looks like I shouldn't even try. I don't know why Sony made this poor product. I vowed never to buy another Sony CD player, despite my positive experience with my 1998 Walkman, until today when I found another model at a reasonable price. Maybe I'll try that one. Just don't make the mistake of buying this model.
