A code-centric set of project-management, editing, and debugging tools enhances code control and increases application quality.Kawa's robust code editor features code completion, a search-and-replace tool for making bulk modifications, code-folding capabilities, and improved printing and previewing tools. Kawa stores workspaces and projects in XML, enabling easier integration with third-party tools, such as PVCS and SourceSafe. The plug-in architecture lets you write programs that control and add to the IDE's functionality. A sophisticated debugging engine speeds testing with conditional and exception breakpoint settings. Debug EJBs, JSPs, and servlets in the same environment, debug servlets as they interact with a Web browser, and even debug remotely. Version 5.0 adds multithreaded and multiprocess debugging. With the two-year subscription, customers receive any major or minor releases that ship within a two-year period. It is possible for customers to receive multiple releases in that time period. And subscription customers will also get early access to new versions of the product through the beta program.
