Summary: A great product for the beginning programmer.
Review: Most programming books are written for the professional programmer and sound like they are written in some foreign language - not so for Beginning Visual Basic. This product is a set of notes written in Microsoft Word format that teaches the basics of using Visual Basic to build Windows applications. The writing style is easy to follow and the teaching approach is reassuring. It is practical and in language that is understandable, without unnecessary jargon. It includes many Visual Basic projects to try and all steps of development are explained in clear detail. You do have to have some version of Visual Basic to use the tutorial.

Review: We purchased this download for homeschooling purposes along with Visual Basics For Kids by Kidware. They have different titles and descriptions but please be aware - they are almost exactly the same. I would not recommend getting both.
