Summary: Oh Joy!
Review: With all the "DOOM 3" advertisements springing up lately, I've recently developed a hankering to revisit the orginal "Doom" titles. I thought it would be fun to play them all over again and maybe that would hold me over untill "Doom 3". I was out trying to locate the games when I stumbled upon this little jem. This concluded my guest in an instant. "Doom", "Doom II", and "Final Doom" all on one CD ROM. Thats some 60 levels which means hours upon hours of game play. This is a perfect collection to hold you over for "Doom 3" and once it comes out you will have the complete "Doom" collection at your finger tips. Lock, load, and kiss your social life goodbye! "Doom" is making a comeback.

Summary: Doom Forever!!!
Review: With Doom 3 coming out, ID decided to make a Doom compilation. Even after 10 years, the gameplay is still good. Here's my run-down of the classic Dooms that started it all:

Concept: You are a space marine stranded on Mars. Your mission is to kill all of the demons from hell that have infested the UAC facility on Mars. You come back to Earth to find that the demons have messed everything up etc.

Control: For a game that was made 10 years ago, the control is still solid. Unfortunatly, you can't jump.

Graphics: The levels are extremely detailed. There are decapitated marines all over the place, satanic pentagrams painted with human blood on the walls, images of satin himself, toxic waste, and a lot of other cool things . The monsters look pretty good too, from the goat-headed demons, imps, zombie marines, floating blob things, etc.

Sound: The very eerie music and the moans and grunts of the demons add up to the freaky factor.

Value: You'll be playing this game forever. there are close to fifty levels combined in the three Dooms combined in this game. You'll also want to play this game on a harder difficulty after you've completed it the first time.

Overall: This is a great game for gamers and casual gamers that are looking for a VERY fun shoot-em up game that will last a long time. This game is DEFINATLY not for the light hearted or for children that are not mature enough to handle it; it can give BAD nightmares. It was also a factor in the Columbine shooting and it started a whole contraversy with the government, so you can guess how violent and gory it was. Whenever there's time, you should buy this great package.
