Summary: Doom Collector's Edition Rules!
Review: So what if Activision just threw all of the DOOM games on a CD
Now you don't have to worry about where are your floppys or separate CD's Now you've got all your 3 favorite games on one CD
They will never get erased, & you'll keep it longer.
DOOM Collector's Edition includes the first original DOOM, DOOM II and FINAL DOOM! The levels are great, the gameplay and the story is awesome!
Maybe the graphics aren't good enough for you, but hey this games were realesed about 10 years ago! Back then this was the best game!!!
If you got an old PC, why throw it away, put some old DOS or Windows 95/98 games on it, and go back in the 90's
I bought this game from Wal-Mart for only $10.00
It was the best deal!!!
I played it on my 366 MHz laptop with 128 megabytes of RAM and 14.1 GIGS of HD space with Win. ME
And it worked great!
So just buy this game and enjoy first-person shooter, destroy all the monsters and save the human race in this awesome game!

Summary: The best FPS games of all time now in one collectors edition
Review: The Doom games have and always will be some of my favorite FPS games ever. They are all still fun to play after all these years and if you enjoyed them back then, you will most likely enjoy them now. Now the reason I bought this is because I had misplaced my old Doom 2 floppys and since my original Doom is on floppys I decided to just get this to have them on one cd. The collection is pretty cheap by todays standards at around $15. However, the contents of the collection basically use the old saying, "You get what you pay for." In this case the games themselves are great and you get Doom 1 through Final Doom so you will be kept busy for a while. It is a bit disappointing that no physical manuals are provided and that the games come in a simple jewel case and use the old Windows 95 launcher but its still worth it. Along with the games you also get some preview material for Doom 3. Since I already own Doom 3 I have never looked at the preview material so I don't know how good it is. Anyways despite the skimpy case and not getting any manuals, the games themselves are what make this worth buying.

Summary: Good and re-programmed
Review: They did a good job of creating a Winodws 95 port(Doom 95) of the game. In other words, you don't have to worry that the sound or music won't work... because it will.

Summary: What can I say, if you don't already have it, Do so.
Review: This "Collectors Pack" is great for those that have not yet had the chance to play Doom. It includes Ultimate Doom (Doom 1 and an aditional mission) Doom 2 and Final Doom. All 3 games for less than 20 bucks! Thats a great deal, Doom is one of the best games of all time and those who haven't had the chance to play it at all can get all 3 games in this bundle and see what you're missing. Sure, they're "old games" but the thing about Doom is, to me, even today the games seem fresh when I pop them in and play them, they're definatly worth it. Check it out, if you like first person shooters like Quake, or Half Life then you're gonna love Doom.

Summary: where's the final doom?
Review: this game pack saddly to say is incompleat it doesn't include final doom.
That is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5.
final doom was released about 5 years ago in limited quantities and if it had been part of this pack it would be a true collectors edition. If you get this pack try to find the final doom to have the compleat doom series.
maybe write to activision to get them to release a true collectors set.

Summary: Life has just gotten better........
Review: This is indeed the start of a new DOOM hype! Add to that the realease of DOOM for the GBA and DOOM III (code named) in the making, life cannot get any better than this! I am an avid DOOM freak and will definitely get this at least for nostalgic purposes. Keep DOOMing!

Summary: Classic game for hardcore gamers
Review: This was THE game series back in the 90's and they are id software's bestselling games so far, quickly followed by Quake. The graphics and sound need work, but the game is playable and fun. This classic is cheap and you won't find it for a better price. I love it, it is even on one cd for your convenience. Hoghly recommended.

Summary: Doom
Review: Through the course of the nineties, several Doom titles were released. These games were very basic first person shooters, but still very fun. Read on to see what makes these games cool
Graphics: 1.75/5
Yuck. NOT ONCE in the course of the Doom series did anyone ever bother to try cleaning up the graphics (unless you count Doom 64 on the Nintendo 64.) These are pixelated beyond belief, and with these kinds of graphics, it's surprising the games actually get mature ratings.

Play Control: 3.5/5
That rating is for a standard PC keyboard. Believe it or not, this game plays just fine with one! You've got movement buttons, switch weapon buttons, a firing button, a run button, and strafing buttons. You adjust to this surprisingly fast. Before playing the Doom series I never thought a keyboard could work so well for a game controller. However, I remain confident a controller is the better thing to use.

Challenge: N/A
All Doom games feature adjustable challenge levels.

Theme/Fun: 3.25/5
Games in this series are much more simplistic than other first person shooters. Basically you just kill enemies and find keys to escape from dungeons. If you want a good first person shooter without complex objectives and controls, and don't mind pixelation, the Doom series is for you.]

Music/Sound: 2/5
Very basic sound effects. Music is virtually nonexistant.

Storyline: 3/5
All games have a slightly varied storyline, but the general principle is the same - kill the demons and restore peace. Your adventure takes you through earth, the moons of Mars, and even Hell itself.

Overall: 3/5
Let's face it, these games are horribly outdated, but they're still a pleasant diversion from boredom. Most Doom games were on the PC, but a few made it to video game consoles. If you've got one of them, you may want to give these games a whirl if you want a simplistic shooter.

Summary: Not much of a bundle, just Doom1, Doom2, and Final Doom
Review: What more can Doom offer? In this bundle, not much, but just incase you missed the Doom craze back in 1994 - 1997, here is the plot of it. You are a lone soldier sent out on a first person shooter to annihilate creatures, goat headed demons, imps, zombie soldiers, and huge cybernetic spider masterminds. So what do you get with this "Collector's Bundle?" all of the official Doom releases, starting with the Ultimate Doom, which is the original 27 levels of Doom, plus an extra tough 9 additional levels. Then when you defeat that, move on to Doom 2, which is 32 levels with new monsters, such as the Chain Gunners, Pain Elementals, and the Arch Vile and others, but still the same old weapons and graphics. The levels are incredibly detailed with 100s of new wall textures, where you actually believe you are in a city slum overrun by monsters, and you go to the lair of the monsters to destroy the big bad bosses. Finally included on the single CD-ROM that comes in this bundle is Final Doom. Most Doom players missed out on this because it was an expansion pack released for Doom 2, which contains 64 new levels! However, they are nothing you should go running to it just adds to the longevity and difficulty of Doom. This bundle is pretty bad, especially when it comes in a box and not a single jewel case (because everything is on a single CD-ROM)!

Summary: Doom could pixelated blood be any more fun?
Review: When I was about five my brother was constantly talking about Doom.Even though it was innapropriate for my age I defied my parents orders (dictators) and flicked on the sega in the basement. So nine years later I see it on sale for pc with Doom 2 and final doom not to mention a mouth watering demo of doom 3. Even though it seemed corny from what i remembered It was terriffic . How? even with terrible graphics and sound It was actually fun unlike splinter cell. Just blood guts and aleins such a low form of art yet again it was great. From the time when games where fun not just idiodic graphical amazement
