Summary: This game is the best!!!
Review: I love AC. Different types of chars. And you can design your own character template even! I've been playing for over a year, and my husband has for 3 years. The Devs come up with new story lines and changes often. There is an update every month. There really isn't a partiacular type of char that it favors, different chars have their advantages against different types. We pay $9.95 a month and it is well worth it. In fact we are condsidering a third account. You can have 5 chars per account.

Review: AC is not like those other MMORPGs, you won't beat AC in one week.

Regardless of if you are exploring the ruins of an ancient Empyrean armory, or fighting off waves of the mysterious Virindi, AC has something for everyone.

If you enjoy exploring, taking down gigantic monsters several times your size, or even fighting others, this game is perfect for you. With countless pages of lore (that is optional to read - if you don't like reading you can just skip it all), and with monthly PATCHES CONSTANTLY ADDING HOURS AND HOURS OF CONTENT, there is NO END to the adventure.

Review: This game was great a year into it's release date but playing the game these days you'll be lucky to run into any real people playing the game. You see most of the characters you run into the game now are BOTS. What this means is you're basically paying a $10 monthly fee to play online but play a single player game.

This is currently the only online Single player game out there because of the unwillingness of microsoft to take any action against the exploiters, bot owners and cheaters. So what you have is an all out hack fest to see who can create the best artificial intelligence.

If you like bots, exploits, cheats and hacks you'll love Asheron's Cheat.

Heed the cheat today!

Review: This is the best game I have played in a long time. I even have friends from work now that are beginning to play it and they like it as well. Recommend it to anyone that loves roleplaying game.

Summary: Fantastic, overlooked game
Review: AC is the ideal online game for those people who, like me, often can't schedule four or more hours for a play session. I need to take my gaming where I can find it, and dropping into AC for a 30 minute session is extremely satisfying. Longer sessions are, of course, more fun, but there is a lot to be said for a game with this much depth, where you can log in, explore and hunt, and log out before the kids' nap ends.

Summary: Two and a half years ...and still playing!
Review: I had never played an online MMORPG before this one. Nor had I played ANY type of RPG at all. This game hooked me, and hasn't let go. It's much easier to learn to play than other games out there. And it's updated monthly with new content -- not just to stomp out bugs. The lore of the game is amazing, and unlike other games, you're not tied to a certain profession just because you are of a certain race. And the characters in the game are thankfully different than the usual "elf, orc, bard, halfing" menu. Since I started playing Asheron's Call, I've tried Dark Age of Camelot, Asheron's Call 2 (ugh), Star Wars Galaxies, and the Sims Online. (Also tried Second Life in open beta). None of these games has mesmerized me like Asheron's Call did. Look at the price -- it's inexpensive! Try the free month's subscription, and if you end up on the Thistledown server, say hello to Dierdre the Pain!

Review: ACDM is the expansion to the phenomenal game Asheron's Call. I have been playing this game for 3+ years now and I have yet to grow bored. There are so many things you can do in this game from ridding the isle of evil, cooking, fashion coordination and curstom tailoring to just sitting around chatting with old friends.

I have yet to find another game that could ever compare to AC. The player base is loyal and giving (with some bad apples tossed in for flavor) and the friendships made are everlasting :D

Review: this game actually puts a new meaning to online gamming ive played everyone of the acherons calls saga's had chars 30 and above this one (dark majesty) takes the cake

Summary: AC The most dynamic game ever
Review: If you don't like Asheron's Call the first month you buy it, wait another 30 days. With the ever changing content, you will never get bored. There are so many aspects to this game that make it the best I've ever played. Try EQ and DAoC. You'll like them, but you'll come back to AC. Don't try AC2 though. The graphics are classic, not cutting edge, and that's what gives it some of it's soul. It will grow on you, you'll have a favorite town, a favorite allegiance, and a favorite spot to watch the sunset in no time. Asheron's Call is for the serious online player who wants to be fully immersed in an alter-ego.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best MMORPG ever.
Review: More quests and more fun to play than any other game.
