Summary: Exellent value!
Review: For little $$$ this is the opportunity to spend endless hours taking out terrorists and saving the free world!!!

Delta force is an exellent seris where you get to engage the enemy in a enormous outdoor enviroment using real world weaponry. Each game offers 40+ missions and once you have learned to play one game you already know the others. By buying this trilogy of three games(df1,df2 and landwarrior df3) you will have many hours of kick but game play. Each delta force game is really like two games in one. The 40+ missions you get with each one and the online multiplayer which is very active and competitive. Delta force is a little easier to learn than rainbow six and you don't have to have a joy stick to play well. The selection of weapons increases from the first game on but even the first game gives you enough quality weapons to get the job done. What sets delta apart from the rainbow seris is the outdoor enviroment were you can nail the enemy from 300 meters or more. There are two exellent sniper rifles which have 800 meter or more range and highly powerful scopes. The terrorists scum will not know what hit them! Right away you may be disappointed that the enemy isn't very hard to deal with but there are many of them and they are spread out all over the map and it only takes one to ruin your mission. You will take things very personal. Of course you have more to work with than your primary weapon. You will use grenades, satchels, mines and a rocket launcher. Your equipment choices also include options to have more ammo or a vest. Of course landwarrior being the most recent of the three has the best graphics but df1 and df2 are also nice looking games with incredible scenery but don't waste to much time taking in the scenery because those terrorists are scoping you out.

On balance landwarrior probably is the better game of the three but i like the missions best in df2 and the multiplyer in df1. The older games have an update patch available which bring them up to date and df2 and landwarrior have map editor options. In fact you can download dozens of new missions off the internet for df2 and landwarrior and most are much more competitive than in the games. Missions are especially fun when played with a buddy in coop mode so you'll want to do that.

Over all delta force has been a very entertaining complete seris with options and characteristics that would be refreshing to rainbow or half life fans. These three games will provide you will countless hours of fun for very little $$$$ and the free world is counting on you. Rememeber this is special opts work so wimps need not apply!

Review: ok to get to my main point Delta Force is the best game, when i first got it i played it never got sick of it but there came a time when 1 and 2 just didnt do it. I got on my knees and thanked god that Land Warrior came out easy fun and once you see BLACK HAWK DOWN you just want to play it even more! in short IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED THIS GAME YOU JUST HAVNT LIVED!!

Summary: The variety makes it great fun!
Review: The first df game was okay, the one that I really loved, and played for countless hours was DF2, I wasn't all that happy with land warrior. You know my comments are true, all you have to do is check the prices on both games, DF2 came out later, but is more expensive than land warrior. The best thing about this game is the map editor, people create incredible maps, not like other multiplayer games, that only have three maps you play. The new game dagger is okay, but I really like black hawk down. This is a cheap price, for some great fun. Careful, you will get hooked.

Summary: Excelent Game
Review: The first two games in this set (DF and DF 2) are not that great. They don't run very well on my computer and I have all of the recomended system requirements. The graphics are not to great and the resolution is blocky. DF Land Warrior is by far the best game in the set. It uses a new engine with smoother gameplay, the resolution is incredible, and the graphics are pratcically real life. I would recomend just buying Land Warrior instead of Trilogy because it is much better than DF and DF2 and costs less than Trilogy. It could just be my PC thats messing DF and DF2 up, but I doubt it.

Summary: Not a bad bunch of games.
Review: Though you probably can find it cheaper then what I saw listed here($39.99).

I played Navy Seals which I thought was rather horrible and found DF1 to make up for it. It is an old game but it was still fun. The weapons choices are will suited and there isn't really the perfect weapon(in all three games for that matter). You may pick a SAR but then find yourself getting shot at by snipers with scoped rifles.

DF2 was an improvement over DF1. Many missions but becareful with XP. There is a bug with a mission about destroying a weapons cache at a hanger. Haven't figured a way around it and Novalogic does not repsond to help requests.

DF3 was interesting but clumsy in play. The scenerios are decent and challenging. But, it did have a few annoying features. On my machine, when a new scenerio would appear, the pointer would dump out. You click and you went back to the desk top. It didn't affect the game as you clicked on it and it would return.

Over all the AI is both dump and smart. Dumb as in two guys walking along the first one drops and the second one keeps walking by the body. You are crawling along a hallway and bad guys would run right by you. Bad guys would keep running around a building while you were firing away. You fire on them and they just keep standing. You enter a room and there is guy with a weapon pointed at you and he takes a few minutes to fire.

Smart as in guys would appear where they were not. Especially when you are in a firefight.

The shooting ability of the terrorists is ok. Not accurate as it could be. However, the long range aspects are very good! You are taking fire and yet you can't locate the shooter!

Overall they do have replability. Have not tried the online version yet.
