Review: This game does not work on all systems. I was lucky to buy it at a store that let me return the package opened.I have a Windows 2000 system, which this game is supposed to support. And I am a computer guy. I tried EVERYTHING to get this game working, and still still still it froze up before I ever got to play a game. What a shame! I tried updating all drivers, updating directX... deleting registry entries, EVERYTHING! Be careful with this one...

Summary: This game is cool!
Review: This game is a great game for my whole family! My son has told me about it. He said the graphics were great, even with the on-play-player-detail down alot. The gameplay is extremely great. With the on-play-player-detail down, it is fast. Very fast. It works on Windows 98 perfectly. You can make your created player a star with all ratings up, and take your team from the cellar to the cup. It is also cool that you get an Upper Deck NHL trading card with it. One package has a Mario Lemieux autographed card, so you can get an autographed card with a cool game! My son owns NHL 2000 on PS1, and he likes that game. He says this is a 1000% improvement from NHL 2000!!!!!!! Three words: BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!

Review: This game is fun. The sound plays sum 41 and alot more! The gameplay is beatiful! The fans are grat. You could be a country team. Like pick Sweden because they have Foresberg,Modin,Listrom. You could create a player and you could pick what country he's from!This is a great Game. You wont regrat it!

Summary: EA Sports Has Another Winner!!
Review: This game is great, I was able to take it out of the box and play it immediately with my knowledge from last year's version. There are some really cool features of the 2002 version as opposed to last years, including the slow-motion animated saves during game play and also the new "Game Update" feature is really nice. I could do without the new "CardGame" they added where you collect trading cards for players, and also get cheats, EasterEggs, & special celebrations cause it kind of takes away from the game IMHO. Other than that it is great fun, I typically only buy 1 game a year, and for me the EA Sports NHL games are the best.

Review: This game is kool. With really kool camera angles, a hit camera, a save camera and a breakaway camera you cant go wrong. Make yourself as good as you wanna be. Control your favorite team. Have nhl cards to boost your players and special cards that let you celebrate after a goal, have an automatic penalty shot or make someone on the other team set out of the game(try it on lemieux in game 7 of the stanley cup playoffs and win!)

Review: this game is the best i've been playing the nhl series since the 98'game came out and i love it.
i boaght 2001 about a year ago and was amazed but a few weeks later i put it in my drive wrong and it broke. my friend let me borrow 2002 and i gave it back because i'm buying it tomorrow i can't wait. i like the new celebrations but i think they could have gotton a little more detail in the players and such. anyway it's the best game ever, no lie, even better than 2001, and i recomend it for everyone. panthers rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: without a doubt, the best ever
Review: this has it all, even better than 2001. the commentary is much much better than all the other years, don taylor is really great. while he may not provide as much hockey insight as usual, he's funny as hell. for example, if a great save is showcased in the game story (another great feature), you may hear him say "this is a save the public will hold their breath on for years to come...(pause)...come to think of it, that's a health hazard." pure gold. the nhl cards are another great way to enhance the game, while they may not be totally realistic, they unlock easter eggs, celebrations that you can program for a goal being scored, and more. any self-appreciating hockey fan should pick this up.

Review: This is an a amazing game! You feel like your playing playstation or something. You can make it really easy to win or really hard. It seems really expensive but its worth the money. When I saw the new NHL Hitz for Xbox I was jeolouse because I wanted it because of the great graphics. I couldn't get it though because I don't have Xbox but NHL 2002 shure made up for the lose although it would be nice if you could get in fights like on NHL Hitz. The people who make the coments are funny and the music is good. In all this is a must have for any hockey fan or player, especially if you want to be your favorite player!
