Review: Flawed? Maybe. But this online adventure is the most addictive, ambitious, fun and pleasing game I've ever seen. Server side input means that the game is as dynamic as you would ever want. The game is like every day life: you'll find people you like, dislike, challenges, concerns, problems. You won't go wrong with this but be warned: you'll get addicted.

Review: Unbelieveably addictive! Everquest will set the standard for online role playing games. In addition to its many technical merits, it also does a lot to encourage social interaction adding yet another dimension to an outstanding game.

Summary: Greatest Online Game
Review: Everquest is incredible! I played UO when it first came out, and it was fun. I picked up Everquest in June and have been playing it ever since. What of Asheron's Call? I played the Beta. I liked some aspects of the game (no zones, larger parties esp.) but the feel of the world and the fealty idea just didn't hold me and back to EQ I went. The players are the best, the friendships I developed make the game so addictive that I can't leave! The best part is that the game is ever changing. GM events, updates to graphics, quests, and player run functions make the game the Greatest! I also love the fact that there are no god characters (ala UO). Even at the level max, you still have a tough time soloing; and you can't even touch a dragon by yourself! If you want an incredible world, immersive gameplay, and a whole lot of fun Everquest is for you.

Review: I never would have believed that one could actually become addicted to a computer game, but this one is unlike anything I have ever played. Perhaps its that the game is open ended because you play with other people, perhaps its the immersion in a graphically astounding 3d world. Whatever it is, be prepared to devote a lot of time to gameplay. the only problem is that some times real life interferes.

Review: This is a game for the ages, Everquest has brought me many hours of entertainment. The game has not only a great graphics but the roleplaying is fantastic and only getting better with time. I cant say enough good things about this game. The only bad thing about the game is that there is not enough time in the day to play as much as i wish i could.

Review: Well, it might not be the best game in the world but EverQuest has a lot of expantions, and a lot of people play it. If your looking for a good time and don't have a lot of money Sony's EverQuest might be the way to go!

Summary: Great if you like MMORPG
Review: I really enjoyed this game when I first started playing it. It was easy to level. It was fun to see new stuff. The skills were cool, and the graphics were great.

However, it got to the point where it was taking weeks for me to reach the next level. I'm a casual gamer, and as such, I don't spend a large amount of time online. If you don't have that time to invest, there is no future in this game.

It also helped me come to the realization that I don't like massively multiplayer online games, for several reasons. 1. The people tend to whine and generally be rude. This is not a blanket statement as I have seen many players that are cool. 2. There is no end. There is no winning this game. I know a lot of people like this quality of the MMORPG, but I don't. I want a resolution that an MMORPG will never give me.

As for the customer service, the one review that was given saying there was no customer service is wrong. It is excellent. I only wish more companies had customer service where someone continuously read customers threads on the internet to take suggestions and to address concerns.

If you like MMORPGs, then you'll love EverQuest.

Review: First off -- as a piece of programming, EverQuest truly is amazing. It's an enormous world, with a lot of possibilities. However, in a game like this, that's not all you get when you open the box.

You're also getting the people within the game. I think this is mostly up to you, but if you don't want to interract with and sometimes depend on others -- look elsewhere.

The last part is the customer service. I have to say everquest has probably the most awful customer relations policies and staff I have ever seen from a company ANYWHERE. Don't count on having your questions answered, your problems resolved, or your bugs acknowledged.

Balance all that when making your choice.
