Summary: Wizardry Lovers!! At long Last!
Review: For those of us who loved Wizardry's Bane of the Cosmic Forge, here is a wonderful new game from the same creator. An immense world of magic and mayhem. Quests, character building and good old hack-n-slashing! So far an excellent game, although a bit difficult to navigate at times. And while you can "speak" with the NPC's the game is designed to limit the conversations. You are given a choice of words to "say". So there really isn't that much interaction between your characters and the NPC's. The graphics are wonderful, and as typical of Wizardry creatures there are buxom babes to slaughter. Towns are easy to navigate, as there really isn't a "town". You are given a choice of places to visit, rather reminescent of the First Wizardry game. So no wasted time spent in going from one store to the next. It is all right there. You spend your time in the vast world trying to find your way to the next adventure. I highly recommend this game. I give it 4 out of 5 stars do to the at times clumsy navigation interface. Rather difficult to move with mouse, keypad and arrows keys simultaneously.

Summary: I love the game, but...
Review: I was excited, so I had to rush out and buy this game. The first disappointment was finding out that my boyfriend and I would have to take turns on a 100 hour + game!!! After watching the game play, I immediately discovered how incomplete the game really was. It seemed as if the less important NPCs were supposed to have voices. Also, since the character roster can hold 15 characters it seems logical that my boyfriend and I at one time could have shared the game. If you want proof on how incomplete this game is; look at the patch and the fixes it makes. The list is long. However, this "unsupported patch" is still not enough to make the game enjoyable. This gives a pretty good idea on how underdeveloped this game really is. I feel as though Activison ripped me off for the second time this month with this game. They should do right by game fans and fix this game. A game I would otherwise worship. This is truly a shame.

Summary: Decent. Not spectacular, but decent.
Review: This game has it all puzzles, character advancement, and an old school Wizardry appeal. D.W. Bradley and his team done a great job. I enjoy the 3-D engine which is just seems to fit this game like a glove. A 3rd person camera view would be nice but is not needed. Stick with this game it gets better as you play it and get used to the interface. This game makes you think, what a nice change from the current click-fests available!

Summary: Decent. Not spectacular, but decent.
Review: This game initally annoyed me, but once I got used to the controls and interfaces it began to be rather fun. The graphics are pretty lame... but the story is interesting and the locales intriguing. Class advancement is very nice, I like the way you can change roles and classes easily. But, one last thing- I mean, I realize that the characters in RPG's are "naked" when first created, but with the female chars this is almost the case... a bit too much skin, there. On the orc female... (shudder)...

Summary: How can a game so buggy be released?
Review: This game wants to play well. It invites you to keep playing, but the number of bugs and the size of the bugs makes this game a total failure. One should not have to "work around" issues, such as changing resolutions when not being able to surface after swimming under water in one(so far)situation. When you try to surface, the surface of the water behaves like brick wall and you drown, but change to "software rendering", shut the game down, restart, and then you can get out! These are things that as players, we should not have to "figure out". A friendly NPC blocks your way. You're not supposed to kill him, but you HAVE to if you want to go past him. Supposedly, there is a patch that will allow you to push him out of the way. Doesn't work. What a shame, this game could have been worth it, but as is, don't waste your money.
