Summary: Greatest Sports Sim Ever
Review: After playing the demo, which doesnt include many of the special additions...player cards, season, fantasy draft, and create-a-team, i hav found that even the playstation 2 version is no better in graphics then the computer version. Choose from a number of different camera angles, choose plays normally, select a player for a hot route, or ask madden. The running game is the most improved from last year. You can actually gain more then a yard on the run unlike some madden games, but you arent going to have it easy getting a 15 yard gain every down. One of the few problems and errors i found was alot of times the quartback ends up throwing the ball off balance but still perfectly to hit the receiver every time.Also, i had a little trouble configuring my controller.

Summary: Good, but only good enough to tease
Review: Close to being an excellant game. But the gameplay is very disapointing if you are really ingterested in the detail of coaching and playing a game. It is very frustrating to have everything look and feel great in a play when for no reason the player does not do what you expected him to. The D-back with tight coverage but always giving up the pass, your reciever wide open dropping half the passes that hit him, etc. Also, EA sports sets an expectation, that the players as represented in the game with their real names, will have the skills and statistics of their real life counterparts; however Aaron Glenn is the worst cornerback on the jets. There are many similair examples.

Summary: Not quite the NFL, but it's a blast
Review: Every EA sports game I've ever played (Baseball, Hockey, Football) emphasizes offense over defense. I guess, since the game is for the masses, they don't want to frustrate or bore non-purists of these games. As in the case of Madden NFL 2002, prepare for wide open, high scoring games. My average game's final score is usually about 56-49. The graphics and action are phenomenal. I find the commentary by Summerall and Madden to be too repetitive. It gets especially tiring after playing several games and you've already heard the same comments 10+ times before.I also don't care for the way the AI attempts to even things out by the game's end. If I'm ahead in the 4th quarter, suddnly, my team will turn over the ball every third play and the opponent will move the ball at will against me until the opponent has caught up. Similarly, if I'm behind in the 4th quarter, suddenly, I become a world beater. These quips aside, the game is fun as long as you don't expect true NFL type games.

Review: first of all, do not listen to the guy who said that NOTHING has changed!!!! it is a whole lot different, and a whole lot better. the graphics are completely different, and the physics have changed as well (players dive differently than in 2001). i don't know what game that person was playing. it is extremely fun, and if you liked 2001, but wished it was a little more like a playstation2 game, than go buy this game! it's a major step from last year, and the new players and new mile high and heinz fields are worth it. you can even make your own teams and logos! c'mon this is great! go lers!!

Summary: The Next Generation of Madden
Review: First off, when it says you need a PII with 300mhz of power, they are NOT joking. If you system is underpowered, consider a trip to a local computer store, or Amazon.Com's computer department. As for the gameplay, it follows the typical Madden model, with only a few tweaks. Besides waiting for a new computer, this game is ready rock and roll. If your computer can handle it, get ready to eat the turf!

Summary: Good Game, But lacking something
Review: Hi I am a premium playtester and recieved privalages to get this game early. The good: Graphics Franchise Mode 2 minute drill The Bad: NOTHING (exept minor graphics changes and the 2 minute drill) has beed changed from last year. In My opinion... you are better off getting Madden 2001 and using the extra money to buy one of these: Empire Earth- EXTRORDINARY 'Nuff Said Warcraft 3- Wow NHL 2002- Nothing I MEAN NOTHING even compeats with this sports series. Summary: Major Technical Problems
Review: I bought this game, and had problems as soon as I installed it. I went to the EA web site and found I was not alone. The discussion groups at the EA site are flooded with people that are having huge problems with this game. Unless you have a P3+ and a high end video card dont bother buying this game.

Summary: worst game i ever seen
Review: I bought this game, i like the roster and everything excpet the grapics were too bed, i could hardly play and whenever i tried to play i get no good graphics. i always buy easports game, i have so many games of sports that are by easports but tell me all tell you something that this is probably the worst graphics i ever seen and when i bought it first time i thought it might be something wrong with the game so i went back to store to get another cd and i did but it was samething happened like whenever i start to play game the color get all mix and i could hardly see the face of the players and the roster and other features were cool and i like them but the graphics were so bad and i was so disappointed and when i went back to store to return the game ,the sales perosn up there told me that he got too many complains on this game for pc but he also told me that they do not have any problem with playstation2,but it has with pc. this is probably the worst grpahics i ever seen i had everything in my computer downloaded to play the game like you know all 3d grphics card, and you know etc. THE WORST GAME I EVER SEEN FROM EASPORTS.
