Rating: Summary: This game is awesome. Review: This is the best sports game that i have played. As an all around sports fan (not a die-hard baseball fan) I find this game is a lot of fun. The graphics are awesome and the pitching, batting and fielding just feel right (vs. Triple Play which is all messed up). As a Dodger fan, it was cool to see that Kevin Brown not only has all his real pitches, but his windup looks exactly like real life. The music is great too. Get it.
Rating: Summary: Love baseball... love High Heat... hate bugs. Review: Which makes my review three stars instead of more. First the good. The graphics are great, the sounds good, the game streamlined and the stats realistic (an improvement over 2k1 where after a few years the players started hitting over 100 doubles and 80+ homers a year in career mode). Now the bad. Bugs. Lots of them. For instance, I have a career league from HH2k1 that is 22 game years old. Needless to say, there is a lot of history and stats for the retirees. Also needless to say, I would have liked to be able to transfer the league to HH2k2 without glitches. Sadly, that wasn't the case. There is no tool to transfer Hall of Famers or retiree stats from the old version of the game to the new one. I did a basic hex and transferred the files over, but after that the game crashed every time I tried to run a new season. I'm hoping that 3do releases a comprehensive patch soon, as this is far from the only glitch I found, only the most annoying. Once they patch the game I think that it will be at least 4 stars, maybe 5. Until then, it stays sidelined while I learn Black & White and until they fix the bugs.
Rating: Summary: High Heat 2002 Review: You guys did a great job! Love playing my PADRES in famous baseball parks around the nation. When the PADRES go on the road I go with them to the home parks everywhere.
