Summary: It wont run.
Review: This applies to the PC Version only.

I have a brand new system, and the game will not run on it at all. It crashes sometimes mid game, most of the time I cant even get the game started. It is very disapointing, and I feel I wasted my money. However, when it does run for short periods of time, the game looks great, with the exception of choppy sounds, and flickering graphics. The game play is realistic, and better then Triple Play. But I cannot use the program due to the fact that it refuses to run. So I say, purchase at your own risk.

Summary: This game RULES!!!1
Review: This game is awesome dont listen to all those jerk saying it sucks....This game is a lot better than EA sports Triple Plays. So go Out and BUY IT. One more thing that makes it cool Vladimir Geurrero is on the cover He RULES.

Summary: The best game ever!!!
Review: This game is great. It is perfect for those of us that like the gameplay but also the stratigic part. You can manage your minor league teams from AAA, AA, and A!!! This is a realistic twist to a baseball game and is especially important in a career mode. And by the way, you can play a career mode for 60,000 seasons!! Just remember to save often because, yes, it does have some bugs. So, all in all a good game and great for the simulation type players.

Summary: Best Baseball Game Around
Review: This game is head and shoulders above the competition. I am a true baseball fan and this game had the most realistic game play I had ever seen. Baseball fans should really enjoy it.

Summary: This Stinks
Review: This game is one of the worst baseball games I have played. I play EA games which are much better. Even though this game has great options, the timing and video is terrible, it is not compatible with a Geforce2 GTS. I needs a patch for it, which is not out. The tech support is also terrible, you send a message and you could wait for years. DON'T BUY IT!!!! Get Triple Play!

Summary: Great game if you know how to keep your computer updated!
Review: This game is really great. The main problems are not with the game, but with people that dont know how to keep their computer updated with current hardware drivers. The game seems to be buggy with GeForce video cards, but that's due more to Nvidia's flaky drivers. Nvidia puts out new ones every week it seems trying to squash the bugs. Also, this game is one of the first to use DirectX 8, so hardware makers are still playing catchup. With my Voodoo 3 3000 AGP video card and Soundblaster Live, not one problem.

Also, there are many 3rd party updates available for rosters, stadiums, utilities, and more that keep High Heat 2k2 the most updated baseball game ever! If you like baseball and the most realistic gameplay ever, welcome to the creme of the crop.

Summary: Greatest baseball game on the PC!
Review: This game is the best the year has for 2002 versions. It is so realistic, I can't believe it. The rosters aren't the 2002 season, but nevertheless the game is spectacular for lots of reasons. The season is so realistic with the trades, lineups, starting pitching rotations, and the schedules, rosters and just about everything else. The only part of this game that isn't worth five stars is the player editor. You can make players as good or as bad as you want.

Summary: A few glitches, but not bad
Review: This game keeps getting better with this years version, as they have improved the graphics, added player arguments, player suspensions, and base coaches just to name a few. As far as the stats go, they are VERY realistic. The only downside i have found so far, is that the game does shut down sometimes which can be frustrating. On a side note, i also own the playstation 2 version, the PC version is better because of graphics and the lack of injuries and player suspensions on the playstation 2 version.

Summary: High Heat Major League Baseball 2002
Review: This is a cool game. There are alot of unique batting stances the players have and the pitching windups are cool. There are two problems though. One is if you have your gameplay on rookie, you can score like 50 points per game. Where's Ichiro? Where's
Albert Pujols? That is the problem about some of the rosters not updated. This is still a really fun game. I would recomend it to baseball fans only.
