Summary: A new addict
Review: I still hadn't gotten sick of the demo after a month of play (527,000+ score) when I picked up the full version last week. What a blast...this is the kind of game you could spend years trying to master, and there is no limit to the possibilities for play. The graphics are superb, as are the sound effects. The keyboard seems to work well for me, but I might have to go get a good gamepad to see if it's better. That seems to be the consensus. GET IT.

Summary: Great game!!
Review: This is a favorite of mine. I downloaded the demo and got hooked on it imediatly. The full blown version has so much more to offer! The create a skater mode, and create a skate park mode are very cool! The Free Skate mode is one of my favorite modes. I am a former skate border, so I gravited toward this game. I did notice it is not super windows friendly. I am running on a Windows 98 Pentium 2 400mhz box. I can't switch between applications (alt +tab)(it closes the program if you try), and still need the CD to start it up (am working on fixing that). Other then those two minor glithces, this game rocks! Would highly recomend getting a game pad for it. I started playing on the keyboard, but switched to a game pad. If you love this game, I would highly recomend buying the strategy guide to the game as well. It has all of the secrets and other goodies about the game in it.

Summary: Don't buy this game for the Career Mode
Review: I bought this game thinking it would be cool to compete against other skaters in career mode, but this game is really simply an arcade style game. The career mode, is you against the level. I was really wanting to see the runs of the other skaters, and feel like I was competing more with them directly. A fun game for arcade fans, but for those interested in career, don't get it.

Summary: Entertaining skateboard game
Review: To tell you the truth, I'm not much of a skateboard fan, but I thought I would check this game out none the less. My first thoughts are that the game is actually quite good. The graphics are excellent, especially if you have a system that handles 3d well. The one thing I think could be improved is the perspective you have while you are riding around. Its kind of disorienting when you jump up and spin or do some other trick. It just has a wierd view which takes some getting used to. I also gave this four stars cause I don't think this game will have much re-playability for me. Its fun for awhile, but I'm starting to loose interest. I'm sure skateboard fans will really like this game. My suggestion is to try out the demo first, and if you like it, buy it.

Review: This game was tremendously good I know this is the best game game in the universe. The way you can create your own skatepark and skater. The graphics are like your really skating.

Summary: Game doesn't work, locks up computer, needs patch!
Review: Do not buy the full version of this game until Activision puts out a patch to make it work. My computer locks up in the menu window of THPS2 (the circular menu that rotates). Can't escape, can't CTRL-ALT-DEL, can't use the Windows button, nothing. I have to re-start my computer. I uninstalled the demo and retail game and reinstalled the retail game, same thing happens every time. Reinstalled game 3 more times, still happens. Game does not work. My computer exceeds all minimum specs and has the latest drivers for everything. The DEMO has a couple of minor bugs, but otherwise works great and is a lot of fun. Just play the demo until Activision puts out a patch to make the full version work. I e-mailed Activision and am awaiting a reply. I can't believe Activision delayed the release by a month and it still doesn't work!

Review: This is the skateboarding game to buy it is chronically addictive the graphics are improved there are 20 song to choose from you can build and share skateparks. Its ill kids buy a copy for your PC and for your DC since both are going to reign videogames for the remainder of 2000.

Review: Ever since I first played the first Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (at a friends house) I have wanted a skateboarding video game. I didn't have a PlayStation, and Activision never came out with a version for PC. So for about a year now I have looked and waited for a skateboarding game for PC. About a month ago I learned that Activision was creating a new skateboarding game called: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, and it was being created for PC. I knew that it would be good based on how fun the first Tony Hawk's Pro Skater was, but I never thought that it would be this good. The graphics are awsome, and the new options are spectacular. If you like sports games expecially skateboarding and snowboarding games then you have to get this new game!

Review: This game is amazing! I have the demo, and I have been playing it for over a month! It is the best game I have ever played! THe controls are easy to learn, its easy to control the skater, everyting about the game is great! I have found no flaws in his game AT ALL! I will be playing this game the day it comes out!
