Summary: I love Third Dawn
Review: I have experienced Ultima Online using both the 2d and the 3d client. Third Dawn, not only featuring new lands, monsters, and improved graphics (which are beautiful), also throws in alot of extras never to be found in 2d. Such as: many body gestures performed in animation, a much clearer text style and placement making it easier to follow what is going on.

However, you do need an ample system to properly run Third Dawn. A good video accellerator card is HIGHLY recommended in addition to CPU speed and a good amount of RAM.

Review: Ok let me get something out to all you who complained about it. This is the first giant online rpg and its the best. The new 3d will get better as tiem goes on. I played uo for 4 years, got a 2 story house. I had the most fun ever. I played EQ, spent atleast a 100 hours of time on chars just for the hell of playing a rpg. Now me i hate eq, no fun! AC i heard was great but unbalanced and everything. If you want a classic game get UO its the best. I have a 56k modem think i play 3d? If you want dungeon crawling and camping rats go to EQ!! If you want the greatest gameplay come on to UO ive gotten atleat 20 friends addicted to uo!

Review: Let me make this short and sweet. I have played UO since it started and have many longtime friends in game. That being said, we all have UO3D from the beta testing cd and NONE, NO ONE, ZILCH of the people i know use the Third Dawn version for regular gameplay. Its buggy, laggy, everything moves slow, the 3d graphics are blah for the most part. Its a joke. I would uninstall it if not for the fact that the new land mass Ilshenar is only accessible through UO3d. UO Renniasance is the game interface everyone uses to play UO, at least everyone I know and play with. UO-Third Dawn is a joke.

Review: Ok , Third dawn was not the success that i and Origin had thought it would be.
There is so much lag and the learning curve is 1000000 x more than for renasaince. You might be saying BUT BUT its 2 d !!! though asherons call and all other MMORPGS are 3d you get just as much to me it is 3d cause it basically is hehehe Well anyway theres so many problems on my comp( its a pretty good comp) And the gms have so much probs just get rensaince!

Review: I dont know how thid got 3.5

the graphics are like 4.5 the excitment at most is 5 The fun rating is at 5

it is also possable to do funny things in that game.

In conclusion I dont see how it got a 3.5. Maybee the critics did not apreciate the work oragin systems put into it. Maybee RPG games arnt their type.

Review: I played UO back in the day of version 1.25, which I still have, and the account I recently reactivated. I can't wait to start playing UO3D, its gonna be a smash...

Summary: Best Game Ever!
Review: Hail! I have only played for 2 months but am hooked already. This version is not for everyone's computer, but for computers that can handle it, it's great! A cable connection makes a difference too. If you plan on playing UO, buy this version! It comes with the 2d version also. So you have nothing to lose. If you later get an upgrade or they patch any errors with your system, you will have this 3d version available.

The game itself is so much fun to play. So much depth. Something for everyone. I have met people in this game of all age groups. Grandparents through children. Something for everyone is to be found!

Play on! I am Halen of Chessie! See you online!

Summary: DUH!!
Review: Look at the name of it- Ultima Online: Third Dawn. Notice the words, Ultima Online? Those words make it at LEAST a 3 star game. Sure there are bugs on 3rd, but what online game doesnt? Besides, Origin has done fine with fixing bugs so far. Its a bit laggy, well duh! Its an online game, there is going to be lag. Its a 3D game, there is going to be lag. If lag bothers you, use the 2D in fel when u might have to run fast, or if its just too laggy. My dad is in the Army and i just moved here to Germany, when i got here people asked what games do i play? The first thing i said was Ultima Online. They said whats that? Everyone knows what Everquest and Asherons Call is. Why? I think it is because they are 3D. With the creation of UO 3rd Dawn, we UO players might get some recognition from the gaming world.

Summary: UO vet of 2 plus years
Review: I have played UO for over two years. As such I know what happens when they patch UO. It Breaks. The Staff at UO does a great job in fixing/improving the new releases. In my opinon 3rd Dawn is the 2nd best upgrade. The 1st being UO:Renn. I like the eye candy that the 3d Clinet offers. A warning though. Check your hardware before buying. Thought if the 3d mode wont run on your machine, the 2d mode should.

I look forward to the next add on.
