Summary: Sam is the man!!!!!
Review: I just got done beating this game. It was short..it took me a total of 6 1/2 hours to do so, but what an action-packed game it is!!! Hordes upon hordes of other worldly beasts come streaming at you constantly..but it never becomes monotonous. There are secret places to be found, each containing ammo, health, or neat-o weapons.
The graphics on this game are stunning. I have an ATI Radeon 32 meg card and this game makes full use of it!!! The landscapes are very picturesque and you can almost feel the heat and sand beneath your feet. I actually jumped a few times when a beastie jumped out of nowhere and sucker-punched me.
The sound is also very cool. When the Werebulls come charging I could feel it resonating right off my subwoofer! The cannon weapon you pick up really booms off the speakers, too, when fired. The music too is very catchy...gets you in the mood to play this game!!
Highly recommended FPS game. This game is a ton of fun for very few bucks. Thanks to all the folks at G.O.D games for one kicker of a game!!

Summary: Hog Heaven
Review: A great game! Very fun! Jam packed full of hilarious characters which get bigger and bigger by the moment. Luckily your weapons grow with these beasts. You will definitely enjoy progressing in this game...just to see what's coming up next.

Great fun both with cooperative and death match modes.

The one problem? Resource hog! Bad graphics compression and high requirements make the game lag at times and experience the "see-through wall" phenomenon. Enough to make the game bad? Hardly! Worth every penny.

Summary: BUILT WITH A 9 YEAR OLD IN MIND
Review: I love to play. I love to kill things. I dont love this game. It is too simple and has very little replay value. I played it twice and threw it out. Boring Boring Boring. It might keep a 9 year old gamer interested a while but anyone who has been playing Return to Wolfenstien multiplayer and games like that will get very quickly bored of the mindlessness and simplicity of the game. Some of the monsters are pretty funny, I must admit. Like the headless screamers. But it just wasn't worth my time. I guess this game is cool if your new to gaming and don't want to spend a lot but there are lots of better games out there.

Summary: Serious Sam: The Second Encounter
Review: This program is exactly what PC gaming is and should be. It installs easily. The game was published without "bugs" and the need for patches. The graphics are "great" and system requirements are minimal - you do not need a "cutting edge" computer to run the program seamlessly. The interface can be learned in about five minutes. But most of all, it is a fun program that doesn't take itself seriously. Highly recommended for gamers of all ages. One criticism, however, this Serious Sam is slightly shorter than the first Serious Sam game.

Summary: Great,cheap fun!
Review: This game represents the best in computer games:Packed with humor, action, gorgeous graphics, and CHEAP!! I refuse to pay [lots of money] for a video game anymore, when this company has managed to put out TWO terrific games for [a lot less]. And the replay is great, as well, because you can go back and find all of the "secrets" you missed the first time around. And there are four levels of play, geared to the ability of beginners, and up to seasoned shoot 'em up veterans.
I can't wait for the next game by this most excellent company.

Summary: seriously fun
Review: If you're a fan of shooters, and you don't already have this game, you need to pick it up. It's just too good a bargain to pass up.

Although Serious Sam doesn't really add anything to the genre, it puts all of the strongest elements of the genre together in a very tight and fast moving package. The action is intense. There are many times in the game when you're faced with wave after wave of various enemies. The few "slow" periods in the game are punctuated by surprise attacks, some of which literally made me jump. The game also offers an interesting variety of weapons, all of which are useful, even at later stages in the game, due to the fact that some weapons are more effective against certain monsters than others.

Some of the game's other strengths include impressive visuals (the Egyptian setting is a nice change, and some of the structures are stunning), a healthy sense of humor, and good level design.

There are a few negative aspects to the game. The whole concept is fairly unoriginal (typical plot, Sam strongly resembles Duke Nukem, etc.), and eventually, you'll probably groan at the sight of yet another empty courtyard which you know will momentarily fill with yet another unending wave of monsters. These factors would normally be enough for me to deduct a point, but the low price offsets that.

If you like shooters, you'll definitely like Serious Sam.

Summary: This is great for all out shooting......
Review: The graphics are some of the best I've seen. Couple this with some of the environments and I looks like a his res still picture instead of a game. I agree with another reviewer that is can get old fast but when you get rushed by 100 or so creatures, you get into it again. The only complaint I have with this game is when you get trapped in a room and they send hundreds of creatures at you to kill before you can proceed. It became predictable after a while. I would like to thank them for not putting a level where you have to jump from platform to platform level to where you can fall to your death type of situation. THAT gets tired quickly.

Summary: Great Game, but has Video Card and XP Problems
Review: Serious Sam is really a great game if you count the gameplay and everything else. I'm currently running Windows XP Professional with and nVidia Geforce MX 400, 128 PCI-800 RAM, with a Pentium 4 1.4 gHz processor. When I first started playing this game, it wouldn't let me load it up because it said the display should be 16 bit colors and so it couldn't run because it was a 'fatal error.' I changed the display to 16 bit colors and I started up Serious Sam again, hoping to play it. No such luck. It said the same thing to me over again even though I set the display to 16 bit from 32 bit. The point of frustration hit me. All these what if's popped up in my mind. I went to nVidia's website and downloaded a Detonator driver, and sucess! It worked. That was a pretty tedious thing to do, and so don't be discouraged if it says something about changing your display to 16 bit. Just follow my intructions.

Summary: Hmmm....
Review: This was a good game, but it didnt have much of a storyline, and it was terribly short. In spite of that it was very fun, it gabve you an arsenal to blast away aliens in egypt. I have to give some compliments to croteam on their rendering, i havent seen 3d models that good since need for speed 5. Good job croteam. If you want buying advice, i say get it if you want to beligerantly blast away aliens. It is very arcadeish. It was worth [the money]... If you have a lower-end system, stay away from this game, it requires some beefy hardware, I reccomend a geforce 3.
So the final verdict, its a blast em game with no story and has good graphics, will get old fast but is fun. Go for it!

Summary: A 4 star game but the price makes it a 5 star
Review: If you love FPS games, Serious Sam is for you. With Fantastic Graphics and cool 3D audio support this game will have you entertained for hours...

The gameplay is nothing original, the enemy AI is not really impressive but it is still great fun by just the sheer amount of action you get(you will not believe the number of enemies this game will throw at you).
