Summary: Great game. NovaLogic is quickly fixing the minor glitches.
Review: I've always found NovaLogics games to be extraordinary, particularly their graphics. DF2 is just outstanding. Although there were some minor glitches when I first received the game, the manufacturer seems to be working diligently to fix them; same thing had happened with DF1, and everything was quickly corrected.

Internet play is amazing!

Summary: Delta Force-->Delta Force 2
Review: When I bought Delta Force, I was immediately impressed. It's been a year now, and I'm still playing Delta Force. When I heard about Delta Force 2 I was like..I gotta get that game. When I actually got it though, it was like a nightmare come true. Delta Force 2 is the slowest game I've ever played. Here are the problems I've encountered within the first hour of "playing" Delta Force 2: -Computer Froze (5/6) -Game Froze (11/12) -Multiplayer is extremely slow -Lag is horrible -Single player enemies are mad stupid -The ghillie suit looks like underwear over clothes Honestly, Novalogic should have put alot more thought into this game. Alot of Delta Force people are saying DF2 shoulda been an addon for DF, and with that...I totally agree. DF2 has a dart gun...hmm I wonder how many people I can kill with a dart gun. Depending on your computer....Delta Force 2 can run very well, but like mine and the majority of us, it sucks. It literaly takes 2 minutes to join a multiplayer game, and after that, you hafta put up with 3 or 4 somtimes 5 second lag. Overall, DF2 is the worst game I've ever played. DO NOT get this game if you have anything to or less the the following: 56k Modem P2 333 64 RAM 40x Cd rom drive 10.4 Gigs This game hogs up tons of RAM. It's not worth it people.

Summary: Fun One, player AWESOME Multiplayer!
Review: If you like any other shooter games,I.E. Rainbow 6 or Hidden and Dangerous, you'll love this game. The one player game is mediocre. But the Multiplayer is Awesome. With up to 50 players battling it out it gets pretty crazy. Also, I would get this game if you like to paintball.

Summary: Better than the Original
Review: I bought the first Delta Force when it came out and i loved it. I was sure to get DF2 as soon as I could. Df2 is a very realistic tactical simulator: It only takes a couple of hits to kill you and the weapons are ver realistic. The bullets drop as they travel farther and wind can carry your bullet off course. However the enemies sill arent very smart.

Summary: I thought DF2 would bring more fun than DF1, but I am wrong.
Review: DF2 could have been a lot more fun if Novalogic delayed the release date and thoroughly tested the game before shipping it to its DF hardcore gamers. Unlike DF1, DF2 is full of glitches. One example is you cannot stand up again after you lie down in the swamp in order to avoid being detected by the enemies. In other words, if you mistakenly (or intentionally) press the key to lie down in the swamp, you have to crawl until you find some solid grounds before you can stand up again. Until today, Novalogic has not released the patch to fix this problem.

Furthermore, if you have a 16-bit graphics card on your computer, don't buy this game until you get a 32-bit graphics card for your christmas present. you MUST have a 32-bit graphics card in order to be able to play this game and fully enjoy it.

Although I am very satisfied with Novalogic's DF1, I am very disappointed with its newly released DF2. now I have to wait for the patches before I can play DF2 again.

Review: When I bought Delta Force, I was immediately addicted to the multiplayer portion of the game. I really recommend this game to any gamer out there.

Summary: I think I just wasted some money
Review: I bought this game at a fairly low price, and when I started playing, I was totally amazed - at the incredibly bad graphics.

The game featured a basic HUD with two annoyingly large bars, placed above and below it. That was the first thing I noticed. Next I saw that the terrain was sort of fuzzy, and my gun wasn't all that impressive either.

"OK...," I said to myself. "Why don't I try walking around and see if this gets any better?" So I did. Guess what? No gun sway! Every stinkin FPS game I've every seen had some sort of movement with the gun (Ok, maybe not Wolfenstein 3d, but still!).

So, anyway, I tried firing the gun - barely any recoil at all. I tried a pistol just to see if the hammer would pull back but it did not.

Anywayz terrible graphics = boring game. Enough said

Summary: Two different Games in one
Review: The first of these games are the single player campaign missions which while fun ranger from easy to really really easy. The enemy A.I is at its best lackluster and at worse totally moronic. To tell you truth I never bothered much with the single player missions.

The 2nd game which totally kicks butt and gets you your money's worth is the multplayer part. Anyone who is a fan of Red Faction or Halflife will love this game.

On-line it is a total slaughter-fest even though the community has shrank n recent years as people have gone on to either the DF sequals or something else simply to combat the rise in cheating. The other versions of the game did a much better of keeping the cheaters out.

Overall-Still all in all I just love this game

Summary: Bad Graphics
Review: Let me start by saying that I'm a loyal Delta Force (DF) player. I've played every one in the series so far. This is the only game in the series that I've regretted purchasing.

DF1 was a software-rendered game. It didn't rely on OpenGL (hardware) and other stuff like that. DF2, on the other hand, is the first OpenGL game in the series. It seems very dark and kind of slow. Maybe it works better on some video cards, but it didn't work that well on my TNT2.

I'd recommend getting Land Warrior (DF3), which also has hardware support, but none of the issue of DF2. Or, get one of the newer ones in the series. As of the time of this writing, Black Hawk Down (DF5) is what I'm currently playing (and the newest in the series).

Summary: Some good parts, but overall unimpressed
Review: I picked up this game and I am not particularly impressed. The only real improvements to the game are the additions of rain/snow, bogs, and more fiery explosions than the first DF. Still, it remains unexciting.

There is no end mission body count and aftermath reading like there was in the first DF; you just get put back on the map when you beat a mission. Furthermore, if you win the campaign, you simply win the campaign. There aren't even any messages letting you know you beat it. Also, there is a horrible shortage of missions. When I found out about the new underwater assault rifle and pistol in this game, I was excited and prepared myself for some Navy SEAL-type missions. However, there are no missions that require the use of these weapons, and likewise there are also no missions that require the use of the underwater rebreather. Just as well, there are no missions that require the use of the video camera (I don't know why they added this one, it's no substitute for extra ammo or a Kevlar vest).

There are some good features added, such as the ability to blow up tents and watch the smoke billow from them, but this didn't really save the game. It needs more missions and it shouldn't add unnecessary gear to really be worthy of more stars.
