Summary: Great Game, Excellent Sound
Review: Delta Force is a very good game. It's gameplay is extremely fun, and it has a short learning curve. Multiplayer is also extremely fun, and I've had no trouble participating on the Novaworld Network. The sound is just plain wonderful, you litteraly don't need to look at the screen to see whether a bullet just flew past your right or left side. The only downside is the graphics, and they're still okay. It's not Rainbow Six quality, but 800x600 mode is fairly descent. The gameplay is probably the real reason why the game is so addictive, if you want something more complex then a shoot 'em up game, and a little downsized from the extreme complexity of Rainbox Six, this is your game.

Summary: Maybe I'm Nuts....
Review: It seems that most of the people who played this game liked it. And I must say that when I got it, I was expecting a better experience than I got, something along the lines of Rainbow Six with more running and shooting. However, as opposed to most of the reviews I saw, Delta Force was a huge dissapointment. With horrible graphics (Maybe it's my computer, but they didn't even have a strafing animation or realistic grass) and stupid extras as weapons (see the pathetic explosion from a strike) the game was a massive waste of money. I'm beginning to think that everone likes it because it's so cheap.

Summary: Good Game...coulda been alot better
Review: Of course, it was a good game, fun, and even addictive. Some interesting improvements include the more advanced AI of the enemies than was the case in the first "Delta Force". It's also more realistic than the first one: i.e. hiding inside a canvas tent won't protect you from the cannon fire from a Hind. Using several parachute sequences made it much more enjoyable and interesting. A big problem, however, was that when you looked at your GPS map, you could still move you man but you couldn't turn his direction. This proved to be a major irritation all throughout gameplay. Furthermore, inclusion of a shotgun was nothing but absurd, unrealistic, and totally unnecessary. Also, the manual and Help screens are very unclear on how to climb down ladders. As the heading says, it was good, but by fixing only a few minor details they could have made it a lot better.

Summary: Superb!
Review: I got the first Delta Force- shortly after Novalogic released it. The Delta Force series set the stage for realistic real-time combat games. This game's graphics are sharp- and is especially good with the 32MB NVIDIA Graphics Accelerator that I have on my system. If you've every wanted to get your shoes in a military spec-ops seat. This is probably your closest chance to meeting that reality. Well worth the money!

Summary: Excellent Simulation
Review: This game is one of the best simulations of actual special operative ground combat. The review was pretty harsh on the fact that you cannot see the enemy from a long way away. When somebody is wearing adequate camoulflage, you cannot see them from very far in real life, which is what I think this game is trying to simulate. This game isn't going for the futuristic shoot-em up space alien look. Another realistic feature of this game is the gravity field. This requires you to adjust for range when shooting over a distance. The addition of grass to the scenarios adds even more realism. Weather also adds to the effect of the game. One thing that annoys me though is that on missions where you have to ride in one of the Blackhawk's to go somewhere, the gravity field is still in full effect. It is extremely easy to just slide out the door because the game doesn't take into count any of the other forces that would be plastering you to tthe floor of the aircraft as you make a hard turn. Also, the MK23 .45 sidearm doesn't seem to be very effective against enemy soldiers. It can take 4 or 5 shots at times to put somebody down. Last time I checked, that .45 bullet was almost the size of the .50 bullet the M-82 sniper rifle shoots, just going alot slower. It would normally only take one .45 bullet to put somebody down. Thats why SOCOM picked a .45 over the M-9 9mm that the rest of the military uses. Another thing that annoys me is that you have in your inventory a rebreather, underwater guns, and a camera when there seem to be no missions where you would use these devices. Maybe novalogic is planning on coming out with a mission pack later, but I was really wondering what you were supposed to use these for. Overall this game is an extremely good simulation. It is quite graphic intensive and can really slow your computer down when things start blowing up and dust starts flying everywhere, so make sure you have the necessary resources before you invest in this game, but the resulting realism is great. I would like to see better canopy control when you are inserting via parachute. As it is the canopy ride is almost the same as running except you can't stop. I would also like to see More of the extra resources special operatives have; such as gunships overhead that fire missions can be called from instead of the copperhead artillery rounds. AFSOC has cycled out all of its special ops blackhawks. Though the army still uses them, the AF uses MH-53 Pave Lows right now cause they are bigger and qiueter. These are also being cycled out when the CV-22 Osprey comes online. Novalogic might get ahead of the power curve and start showing some of these in any DF sequals the are planning. All in all this is a really good game and I recommend buying if you like realistic ground combat and your computer can handle it

Summary: Delta Force 2
Review: Delta Force is a awsome game in 3D outdoor effects. It snows, rains, and even has fog. It will keep you entertained for hours and hours. Its a must buy game if you like full action army based games. The internet play is the best of all duling with people around the world. On the other side it could use a little more choice of weapons and carry ons. Hopefully Delta Force 3 will allow you to drive vehicles and talk out loud instead of yelling set comands. I do rate this game a 5+ in my mind so dont think twice just buy it.

Summary: Finally!
Review: Finally I found a 3D commando soldier simulation with an interface that can be mastered in 2 minutes without sacrifizing realism.

I love it. The graphics, the gameplay, the missions, the controls and different objects, vehicles, weapons and so on.

Four stars seems a little bit cheap for this great game, but the fifth star is missing because I would have liked to see a greater variety of campaigns, for example with different identities/themes. But still it is worth every penny.

Summary: Excellent game but 3d card support is limited.
Review: I love this game. The landscape plants and grass that you can hide in are perfect for sniping. Buildings, tanks, trucks, and boats can actually be blown to bits. I set off satchels on a boat once expecting a burn mark on the wall, but it actually sank and tilted to conform to the lake bottom. Unfortunately, the game does not support Voodoo cards and requires a Riva card for hardware acceleration. Unless you have a very new Riva card, over 100 MB of RAM, and a 600 MGhz processor you will be experiencing DF2 with a low frame rate, therefore very choppy movement. Also, anytime you try to switch the screen resolution in the game, the game crashes. The auto-patch updater is a bit tricky as it downloads a patch for itself at least 20 times before it starts updating the game.

Summary: A Cool Game
Review: a cool but very easy game. it dosent offer any cool guns or anything like that but you'll just love it unless you don't have a good PC you'll have to have a 500mhz if it's gonna work properly but a good game.
