Summary: DAoC vs. EQ
Review: I played Everquest from its infancy to the present (Just before Planes of Power) and I have all the expansions that are associated with it. I loved the game except for a few of the following items: 1) Too many folks per server, 2) The "jerk" factor.(too many unfriendly folks), 3) over camping of items and bickering for hunting spots, 4)zone lines and zoning crashes to desktop. And these are just a few.

Now don't get me wrong, EQ is a good game....and then I played Dark Ages of Camelot. NO zone lines (except dungeons and home cities), folks are VERY nice and helpful, graphics are very smooth and non-cartoonish, NO CAMPING...woohoo, no bickering and complaining about hunting spots and game flow is smooth and exciting. I would recommend this game to anyone wanting a real enjoyable gaming experience.

Summary: Great Fun!
Review: First things first. I had never played any MMORPG games so it suffices to so my experience is limited but ever since I saw my friend playing I wanted to try it out. I finally got the chance and was not disappointed. I enjoy the easy interface as well as the various races, classes and the different styles each can use. You get many choices and if you tire of a certain character start a new one. Anyway if you are a expert at the MMORPG games or are just beginning this is a great game to play. While it may have its problems I rarely go linkdead <-----lose connection(possibly because I have DSL) and neither does my friend (who only has 56k) and I never have a hard time getting on. This program gets a Ultra 5! rating...Great Fun!!

Summary: Fun game
Review: The game is fun, however after awhile it will become Tediously boring.. Once you aquire one or more level 50 charactors the only thing your able to do is Realm Vs Realm. And that does get quite old.. quite fast.. Realm vs Realm Combat is fast paced.. and can get o be annoying. Graphics are less then disireable.. however with the new expantion coming out they fixed graphics. but you MUST HAVE GEForce 3, 4 or Better to view all the graphics.. Thats pritty demanding. Overall its a great game they have fixed alot of the problems with it. I beleave 4 stars for the Effort of Mythic is deserving. They have tried hard to make a good game. Prehaps to hard. Its fun, But only for approx one year durations time.

Summary: Fun!
Review: Many people say that it is boring because you have short quests and then what? But thats what MMORPGs are about. It is fun because there are so many people who can help you. If the armor or weapon you want to buy is extremely expensive that doesnt matter you can just ask a friend for some money. It gets a little repetetive after a while but you can have more than one character so if you get bored of one, play another then switch back after you have played them for awhile. Some of the classes and races are based on actual mythology which is interesting. There are 3 different realms which all have the same main idea but they are all in warfare where you fight the members of other realms for keeps and forts. The game isnt just about the battling, it is fun also because there are so many other people online with you. You would really have trouble playing the whole game without anyone helping you, thats why its different.

Summary: Terrible game for most
Review: I played through this game and it is just a leveling treadmill, the storyline is meager and once you hit the highest level there isn't anything fun to do, the player vs player is slow and leveling is slow, I would reccomend getting ultima online, everquest, or when asheron's call 2 comes out get that.

Summary: Visually astonishing and super addictive!
Review: Dark Age of Camelot is a game for people who are dedicated to a single game, because in this game you have to be patient! Getting to level 50 and becoming more powerful than a locomotive does not happen in 2 days! BUT! This is not something that should stop you from buying it because it's the best MMORPG I have ever played. It takes almost 30-40 minutes to get from one side of a realm to another and has huge monsters and dungeons in your way! Look out Everquest, theres a new game in town!

Summary: Be Warned!
Review: I have to admit, this is the most fun I've ever had on a computer. However, be warned! This game will suck up any free time you ever get. It is sooooo fun because every time you do something, one more thing has to be done, just out of your current reach. It will suck you and your time up into your computer. Buyer be warned.

Summary: Awesome game for the casual gamer
Review: Unlike Ever Quest, you definitely can play this game for about 30 minutes and actually get something accomplished. In EQ I was actually flamed one time for only grouping with someone for only an hour, but with this game even though my character is 46 I can log on for an hour here or an hour there and actually be a part of a group that doesn't get pissed when I decide to log for the night. I don't think this game is as much of a challange as EQ, which is why I say it's for the casual gamer. For those who are not so casual I think that it has the potential for becoming boring after a while. I don't think there's enough things that you can do beyond lvl 50 to keep someone interested. Sure, there's one dragon you can kill, and then there's Legion raids, but not much else to do besides rvr which can get boring at times. Sure you had to commit a lot of time to raids in EQ, but at least there were lots places that you could do raids if you so desired. I've played this game since the day it came out and I'm starting to lose interest. I feel like I've done everything there is to do and I'm not even lvl 50 yet.

Summary: Very Entertaining
Review: I bought Everquest, because my friends all played it. But i didn't like it. When Dark Age of Camalot came out, all of my friends bought it, and I held off, based solely on the fact that i hated everquest. When I was my friends playing this game, I was hooked. Compared to everquest, personally, the graphics are better, the game play is better, you can pick to be in three different worlds, and you can ever color your armor! If you like online gameing with a midevil twist, buy this game. Although it is VERY boring when u start out, ance you level up to around 8-10 you can group with other players, combining your skills and abilities to level even faster. If you get bored with that, and after a few more levels, you can go on to fight other players from other worlds. Dang cool, even if you get into grouping with people.
