Summary: The best Deer Hunter game in the universe
Review: I bought this game 2 saturdays ago and i got it wednesday and i played it all day wed. thurs. fri. and sat and some on sunday but my dad kicked me off the computer well that's a diferent story anyway this game shakes your computer there is no better game than number 4 this game has the ultimate graphics the deer almost look real and it has real hunting eq. like cover scent and over 16 guns but when u get out there in the woods you will find it VERY hard. WARNING: do not shoot a buck without a permit or in water or they will mark it POACHED I learned my lesson on that one other wise this game glues you to the computer for days and days after a while u might get bored.

Review: I don't have this game but I have Deer Hunter II and I and I'm getting it. I don't think it needs a teen rating. There's only a little blood. Which you can ignore. It's really because you use a gun. I don't know why people are afraid of guns. I'm getting off topic :o. But when I get this game I'm sure I'll love it. Get this game and be happy!

Review: Not only are the graphics in this game-outstanding!!-but also the fact that the deer seem nearly "alive" in the way the act naturally. There are also more than a few sites on the web for additional help/pointers for any "newbies" to hunting simulations. Probably the only downside would be; is unless your computer is geared with lots of ram as well as a newer graphics card, your game might be a bit sluggish. All this aside though; if trying to find the right game to buy-you JUST DID!! Well worth the money on this one! Guaranteed!

Review: So far I have been pretty disapointed with all of the bargain bin hunting titles being put out there as of late. They have so much potential but no one seemed to care to spend any time or money developing a good game. The novelty wore off fast for me and I stopped buying hunting games all together until Deer Hunter 4 came out. And boy am I glad I decided to pick up this title. Deer Hunter 4 is the best Hunting game I have ever played, it still is not perfect but nothing else comes close.

The first time I heard a chainsaw ripping through the woods while I was trudging through the woods stalking a deer and then saw that the noise had spooked the deer I had in my sight, I knew this was a great game. You will become totaly emersed into these wonderful environments. The graphics are good, not ground breaking or anything but better then any previous attempts at it. It would be nice if the game took full advantage of the hardware that is out there now but overall the graphics are pretty good. The trees sway in the wind, grass rustles, the water ripples and looks real. Each hunting location looks completely different then the rest. And the deer look wonderful too, no more shooting at pixels, these babies are fully 3d rendered. You can also track deer since they leave hoof prints as they walk around. Also deer leave blood trails after being shot, making them easier to find if they don't drop right away.

This game also has great sound, every hunting location is different, you will hear everything from birds, to grass rustling, to twigs breaking under your feet, and even the occasional chainsaw far off in the woods. Play this game with headphones, it only enhances the experience and any noise other then from the game will only detract from the experience.

The controls and interface are pretty simple, they might come off confusing at first but it should not take more then a hunt or two to get used to them. The game is packed with options, from day hunts to full seasons to even online play, where you can even be the deer if you want to. You can create your own hunter, and equip him/her with tons of items and gear. There are even drivable vehicles in this game including trucks, snowmobiles, and atvs.

Over all Deer hunter 4 is a great game, especialy for the price. For those of you who have been hesitant about hunting games before because of the crap that is out there, it is now time to change your mind and give this game a try. The best hunting game to date. Do not pass it up if you are at all interested in this genre.

Review: The other reviews explain the great points of the game pretty well, but they left out what I think makes the game so great...it's the different deer racks. I have owned the game for months now and I have never killed the same deer twice. I think this is an awesome aspect of the game. I have played other games and all of the 8 pointers looked the same and all of the 12 pointers looked the same. Deer Hunter 4 offers thousands of rack types, it's great!

Also you can see what the deers rack looks like before you take a shot at it. You can see if it has a wide rack, tall rack, non-typical rack, or 5 points on one side and 7 on the other.

If your looking to buy a great deer hunter game to get you through the off season, then look no further because this is the one. I have played it for more hours than I care to admit and I still can't get enough of it.

Review: This is a super game! I have DH,DH2,and now Deer Hunter4! this is the best. The codes are great. you can get right next to a deer and POW! The worled class bucks are huge and graphics are good and theres alot more guns The deer are neat to.The places have great senary and its better than both firsts.I give this gama an A+!!
