Summary: Just not enough for the money
Review: A great game with good graphics, story-line and musical accompanyment, but just not enough levels for the money. For the price I expected to get more and not a game I could run through in less than a normal weekend.

Summary: Great multiplayer and decent single player
Review: A solid re-make with great graphics and above-average game-play that played on my computer bug-free without a single crash. Recommended.

Summary: Online Multiplayer is what this game is all about!!
Review: Although the single player aspect of this game is enjoyable and challenging, the real reason to purchase this game is for the multiplayer community. I have been playing this game competitively in an online gaming clan, and have played in leaugues for CAL, TWL, OGL and STA. This game is THE BEST multiplayer competitive game on the market right now. The key reasons for this are the teamplay aspects of this game. You can not go solo and try to kill everyone, and expect to win the round. You need to play as a team and work together to win. That's what makes this game so great. Its not about having this one Ace shooter on your team, its about having a solid team. Get this game, join up online, and start enjoying the fragging in this WWII genre FPS!

Summary: This is such a good game!
Review: And to think it came from the original "Wolfenstein 3D". People that have played the orignal can respect this a lot more. The game is great though, and the only reason I gave it fives stars is because I couldn't give it ten. It is awesome, and the multiplayer is even better!

I can't say that it is the best WWII game I have played, because a lot of it has nothing to do with WWII, look for the MOH's on that one. But the game's story is great, taking you along from place to place, explaining things and introducing different characters and enemies as you go along. Pay attention to the cinemas for the most out of the story!

The weapons are great too, with over 15 to choose from, it cannot get much better. The weapons vary widely, and give you one for any and every op.

Complaint: Kind of short, bad replay.

It is true the game is short, it would seem you start it, and then finish it soon enough, but it left me with a satisfied feeling, which is what I am looking for in a game, along with other things.

The replay is bad too, because it follows along a scripted story, one can always expect the same things.

But do not let these waver your thoughts about the game, it is great!

Summary: Kicking Nazi Butt Has Never Been More Fun
Review: As someone who played the old-school Wolfenstein 3D, I was blown away when my boyfriend showed me Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I hadn't even realized that there had been a sequel, if you could call it that. Anyone who has ever played Wolfenstein 3D will remember the very low-quality graphics and sound (and for anyone who has forgotten, or who hasn't played it, the original is included with this game), the very few weapons, and all of the evil characters that looked the same. At the time, it was a fun game. But now? Wolfenstein has received a makeover, and it has never looked better. Or sounded better. The graphics are so great, it's almost like you're actually there. Sneaking around outside the castle, you can hear Nazis talking as they listen to classical music. You can find one getting drunk in an alley. And the Uber Soldats? They are big and mean, and ready to pump you full of electricity and missiles.

With that said, I would like to tell you how many times this game has literally made me jump. Quite a few times, actually, whether the floor unexpectedly gave out from beneath me, or a zombie just appeared out of nowhere. These little surprises were unexpected, and unpredictable. That is how you know when a game like this is good. I like being surprised by a game. Predictable games are too easy and pointless. However, Wolfenstein does have some incredibly hard levels. The one I was stuck on for a month was my first visit with an Uber Soldat, and I just kept on dying. But, every level in every game is eventually beatable, as long as you just take a deep breath and keep trying (and even though you may be tempted to use cheat codes during this particular level, I didn't, and I must say I felt very proud of myself when I finally did beat it).

I have not actually finished the game yet. I have so many games to play that I end up taking long breaks from each one from time to time. But come to think of it, this one hasn't been played for a couple of months. I think I'll go play it now. I think you should, too.

Summary: Disappointing...
Review: Granted... this game is not a bad game BUT... there several other games out there with MUCH better multiplayer and single player... namely the half-life series and I found RTCW an overall disappointment. In short, BUY HALF-LIFE NOW!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great Game for the Price
Review: Having played single player about 2 years ago at a friend's house, RTCW took me in from the beginning but then managed to let go as my computer was way below par to meet this game's requirements. After 2 years, I have finally purchased the game and i must say is not what I was expecting from the multiplayer standpoint of view. Having mastered Battlefield 1942 (order that title as soon as you can) and recently joining the Medal of Honor bandwagon (that game is a disappointment in ways as well), I was expecting a total mindblowing experience. While somewhat fun, the multiplayer leaves a lot to be desired. Single Player is well worth the money, and for starters, the multiplayer will suffice, but for those who have played BF1942 will understand my grief. Controls are a breeze as well as getting it to run on your system. Graphically, the game still looks good despite its age. If you are looking for great single player experience and mediocre multiplayer, get this game. For all out multiplayer mayhem, get BF1942 or download the free standalone multiplayer Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

Summary: funny......
Review: how funny....some guy was talking about how this game makes him dizzy...literally dizzy cause of the graphics or whatever are too grey and the game moves too fast...etc etc...and he only has this problem with this game and i have the same problem with the game as well. this is the only game i get dizzy with. Other games i can play for hours and hours but for some stupid reason this game makes me dizzy/nauseated. :\ kinda funny how that other dude has the same problem with this game. the game rocks though i play it anyways. haha. probably not such a good idea but hey i like this game its cool. Another thing about this game ...in single player...the mutated monsters kinda felt "out of place" .. i know that thats a big part of the story or whatever but still they felt a bit out of place. awesome game anyways though. 4 out of 5 stars.

Summary: The Best FPS Yet
Review: I agree with all the people saying that this is an old school FPS, The Developers were not trying to make a historical game that 4 year olds can play. They tried to make a game that will scare the crud out of you and leave you begging for more. The developers Succeded! I believe this game is and will be a game that will keep people playing for years to come!
A word on Specs

Graphics: Considering that the explosions rock the screen and the Nazis don't look like twins the graphics are great.

Sound and Music: The music moves to where u are in the game. the sound in top notch if you have the right stuff. all in all sound and music is perfect.

Single Play: The Difficulty is moderate and there is no one complaining about the jump out and grab you, and whats around the next corner feeling. The Single Player game is Awesome!

Multi Play: Leaves something to be desired but who wants a MultiPlayer Game but when you have a great FPS staring u in the face.
