Summary: Is it good? Great? or Bad?
Review: If you like strategy games this one's is not the best but to someone it might intrest them. The only reason it isn't that good is because it'll take forever for someone to figure out how to play it. I've had it for 2 months and I still haven't figured it out but if you can it's really not all that bad.

Summary: The only middle-east conflict strategy game
Review: The good:
- it's the only strategy game that deals with the wars and battles of the Arab-Israeli conflict. You have the opportunity to learn some of the history of this conflict by having a little fun, while at it.
- based on a time-tested game engine from Talonsoft.
- runs well on older computers (a 400 MHz CPU is sufficient).The bad:
- based on a dated game engine, with dated graphics.
- opponents are not well balanced.
- the manual booklet is ridicolously terse and uninformative. It basically only explains the menu and toolbar items, and with too few details. The ugly:
- The outcome of your actions is way too random. I played the same scenario multiple times, and obtained a major victory, a major defeat and everything in between, even though I used the same tactical moves every time. This detracts a lot from the sense of achievement, in case of victory. Consider that some of the scenarios are rather lenghty, and to know that you won or lost mostly due to a random number generator, is quite dishertening. My advice for the potential purchaser is to download the Divided Ground demo and decide for themselves.

Review: This game is "West Front" with different theme music! When I purchased " Divided Ground" I was hoping for a new and different game then "West Front", I purchased years ago. Boy was I wrong!!! Not only is this the same game, they did not make any improvements to the graphics, sound or game play! If you never played "East front" or "West Front" then you may find this game interesting. Keep in mind that this game has outdated graphics.

Review: This game is flawed. There are major glitches, like with a heavy truck, I can fire 1 million times in a turn if I want. Oops...
That's not all, it is glitchy overall, and there are very few scenarios when compared to East Front II, West Front, etc. Disappointing.
