Summary: The Best Expantion Ever!
Review: I didn't think they could pull it off, but Westwood has crammed hundreds of awesome unusual things into the best game, making it even better. Yuri's revenge is a must have for RA2 fans, C&C fans, and just lovers of intense strategically action.

Summary: I would give it six stars if i could
Review: RA2 Rocks if you like fast passed action, and first-rate animation. Loads of fun on or off line, two detailed campaigns, and excellent multiplayer support.

Summary: Another Multiplayer to Get! (Andrew plz grow up soon)
Review: C&C Ren. looks like another must buy game. I say this due to the fact that most of us FPS players will buy just because its a FPS (even tho Westwood says it isn't, cute tactic guys, in making all the non-FPS curious). All of the gaming reviews make it look good; and the vids I DL'd make it look Very Good.

Of course this depends on what type of player you are. If Sim City is more to your taste, then this might not be a game for you. But just because its a FPS (Sorta; 3rdP at times) doesn't mean you will like it. I love Ghost Recon, RS, RF, HL, Doom, etc. I don't really like games like Quake, T2 (endless ammo, super jumps, etc) I prefer more realistic action, but that is just me. With this said, lets get on with the review (Oh, I haven't played a demo so, ok... maybe not a real review)...

From what I have read and seen (DL'd vids) this game looks very good. But then we have all seen good movie previews and wished we hadn't wasted on the movie itself (sorta like the Robin Williams in Toys or the ending of A.I.)

The ultimate question is how the game will perform online in multi-play. Not to mention controls, flow of game, online interface, lag, etc.

Take controls for example, by looking at this game on the vids, it does rock, but if the controls are ass-backward, then it won't really matter how it looks. If there is lag and lots of bugs then you know what will happen...Lots of complaining, waiting for patches and looking to buy the next "awesome" game.

Anyway, I just hope this westwood game allows one to explore all the available terrain. Ghost recon kinda let me down in that some terrain would not allow a player access, even tho there was no "real" reason besides cutting corners to meet the release date. Don't get me wrong it is still a good game (Ghost Recon rocks in regards to realism and wide open playable spaces); I just hope renegade learned from other (games) mistakes.

Weapons look tight, but again the "Sniper Rifle" is present. Hopefully the game will provide enough distance for its "real" use. Nothing pisses me off more than a weapon that is present that can't really be used the way it was designed. CQC vs long range weapons: Crowded buildings, hallways and you pick up a sniper rifle; or the flame thrower that is more like a Bic lighter set on high (fun the first few times, but quickly thrown away cause a pistol kills in 3 shots) Not much use.

From the limited vids, it looks like there is some distance to warrant a sniper rifle but that is yet to be seen.

I am looking forward to this game for a few reasons. One, as a C&C fan. Two, as a FPS fan. Three, westwood didn't use an old engine, but made a new one and it should be better than those past. Four, being a futuristic type of game I'm sure the effects for weapons, explosions, etc, will rock.

The only con I see is the obvious...graphics and those opening day glithes that every game has when the first gamers go online to compete. (deathmatch, team matches, etc will allow lots of different types of play; hopefully the maps will be a plenty).

All in all a great way to sell this game to two groups of gamers. I would LOVE to get my hands on a demo and really provide a good review; maybe that chance will come.

Happy gaming, may this year be full of frags & tags,

STG
(waiting 4 my pre-ordered game)

Review: If you like C&C, this is even better than TS/Firestorm.
I was taking a chance to buy it, since Firestorm was sluggish
on the old dog, but it works with choppy video on my GATEWAY Pentium 166 (non-MMX), 128MB ram, no 3D card. Never tried net play but will need new puter first, I'm sure. Enjoy.

Review: Mind Contral is asom. Makes all other teams better, and Yuis is the best.

Summary: this game is the best
Review: this game is the best because not only does it ad on to red alert 2 its a whole other game ( it really deserves 10 stars)

Summary: Awesome!
Review: This is a great expansion pack for a great game. The story line plugs into the story line from RA2. You can be the allies or soviets. Theres a few missons where you go back to missions from original RA2 and be the soviets in that battle instead of the allies. Some of the new vehicles are cool and Yuri's troops and structures are strange, but cool. If you like RA or RA2 this is for you.

Summary: Buy this game!
Review: I have played the multiplayer beta tests for the past few weeks and this game simply rocks! Nowhere else can you find this kind of multiplay experience. - FPS - "First Person Strategy" It really is!

Fight on one of two sides... GDI or NOD. Battle the other team across expansive multiplay maps with a multitude of character classes or pick a vehicle and smash the opponent with a tank, artillery, or humvee. I love playing Quake, Team Fortress, and Tribes and this game is all of those IN ONE!!!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Can u say "Team Fortress"?
Review: This is a complete copy of Team fortress, and will be not even half as good. The graphics r demented, and somehow still have steep system requirements. This is a bunch of eye candy waiting for you to eat it and have it feel sweet to the taste, but then later you get cavities and digest it away. There is no good point in buying this game, even tho the other c&c games r great and i love them...

Summary: Best of the Command and Conquer Series
Review: I found RedAlert 2 to be the best of the Command and Conquer series. After playing the pre-designed missions, you can set up your own battles in skirmish mode. I love the pure strategy of the game.
