Summary: groovy combo... like totally shagadelic baby
Review: Hey... An Old School Term for an old school game. This package is fantastic. Comix Zone is a Gem I never got too play... Vector man 1 and 2 Gave the genesis a last few months of life... Shining force Is A classic That is still Pheonominal and touching... Even by todays standards The ending Is Simple.... Kinda Short.... But it still touches my heart in a way That Even Final Fantasy often fails to do. Sonic... Is Sonic. Flicky Will Appeal too Puzzle gamers... and kid chameleon... Well... It's a Good Game... It took it's Ideas and game play from another old school game called super Mario 3. And It was a Great clone... But it lacked Marios warps... I played this sucker for hours and never got a chance too finish it.... It's still fun... But you will likely never finish it unless you have alot of time on your hands... this collection is cool.. and I hope sega keeps this up... I wanna get my hands on Phantasy Star 3 and fouf Or Ecco. Landstalker was also a nice huge action RPG That Made The Zelda Series Shudder for a while back in the day... Lets Hope sega puts these classics out on the third smash pack

Summary: An Awesome Collection Of Awesome Games!
Review: I Love the Old-school Games! I grew up on "Kid Chameleon", "Sonic 2", and "Shining Force"! As a ex-Game Reviewer, I reviewed Shining Force when it came out In 93' I Think.....and I rated it respectivly. I Love This Bundle(Except "flicky", sorry lil' blue bird) Kid Chameleon is a Massive side-scolling game. It took me from 11 o'clock in the mourning to 4 o'clock in the afternoon to beat. Shining Force is a fun Final Fantasy Tactics-like RPG. Sonic 2 is great. Its a Great Bundle for the price-. All in All- Great Games!!

Summary: The Most Awesome Game Ever...
Review: I love this game! I loved it so much I made my own homepage all about it! It can be found at: http://hometown.AOL.com/toptrig12/myhomepage/profile.html
This game is so nostalgic....I love Comix Zone and have beaten Shining Force twice, I think. However, Kid Chameleon, although it can be obsessive, can get quite old especially after you've beaten it. Kid Chameleon is a very long game. Sega Smash Pack II also comes with Sega Swirl which is a good puzzle game. Sometimes I like to play Vectorman since I have many cheats for it along with many of the other games in Sega Smash Pack II which are listed at my homepage. Flicky can get on one's nerves, seeing as it is so hard to get past those pesky cats and lizards! I just skip to Level 36 with my level select code. Comix Zone will never get old....

Summary: Great compilation, but could have been done better.
Review: I really love having these old games for my PC. Not having a Sega Genesis, it's nice to be able to play great games like Sonic 2 and Shining Force. Super Hang-On was released for DOS many years ago, so fans of the arcade game will enjoy the newer, better-looking Genesis version included on the Smash Pack. This, however, can also be the Smash Pack's downfall...

Comix Zone for Windows was released by Sega a few years ago. In fact, it can still be purchased at Sega's web site. I cannot understand why Sega opted to put an emulated Genesis version on this compilation, when they have a superior Windows version that could have been easily put on this disk. The Windows version is cleaner looking and has more options.

It would also have been nice if these were not strictly emulated Genesis games, and they were redone with visual and audio upgrades. These games could definitely benefit from facelifts. I guess more time and money would have gone into the project than was desired though, and the disc would have been more expensive.

Summary: fun for a few hours
Review: its simple but fun its a game you play it twice and your done but its worth it if your a gamer who playes once a week this is a good game for you but any pretty good gamer will be done with it in a few hours like most collections you choose whether to get it or not but i personally don't think you should buy it.

Summary: Some of the best titles ever...All in one disc!!
Review: Vectorman 2, Sonic 2, SHINING FORCE!!! Most of these games are always a thrill to play and they never get old. Whether your slaying Dark Dragon in Shining Force or speeding past Dr. Robotnicks army of robots with sonic and Tails in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, or maybe you've decided to have competitors eat your dust in the motorcycle racing classic, Super Hang-On, you will enjoy every last minute of it. Below I will explain each game...

Shining Force 5/5- Best of the Best in the land of strategy RPG's! You take the role of a young hero who joins up with others for you are the Shining Force as you save RuneFaust from the returning Dark Dragon and his minions as you place your armies in strategic spots and making the right choice on intercept your enemies whether your casting spells at Dark Dwarves or launching arrows at the enemy or engage in sword clashing battles, it's all up to you. There are also hidden extras such as characters for the alliance or many side quests for the taking, all on your pc.

Sonic 2 5/5- He's back, but this time' he's ready! Thats right, the blue hedgehog and his speedy feet are back and better than ever, and his got a new partner, Tails (Miles) the fox to watch his back. More Engaging levels, cooler bosses, cooler music, than the first sonic the hedgehog, a new feature allowing you to spin in place and shoot off as you take Robotnick head on in this timeless classic. It's the best sonic title ever to come out.

Vectorman 2 4/5- Maybe the sphere floating robots sequel wasn't as awsome as its predecesor's was, but he still has the mayhem and action that made Vectorman a success in the first place. So, you owned Warhead and his army of robots, big deal? It's only practice to what Vectorman must face this time, Mutant Insects! And they don't bite, they destroy. New powerups and abilities allow vectorman to blast and morph his way past the insect scum either on foot or a pair of skates, vectorman will be there to save Earth at any cost. even if it means taking out the insect army himself.

Super Hang-On 4/5- Your off to the finish as you leave your opponents in the dust while racing against the greatest challenge of all, time! Thats' right, you must make it past the checkpoints while avoiding trees, signs, even street lights! Shift gears so you can burn rubber in the different coarses getting more exciting than the next! This is no Excitebike.

Comix Zone 4/5- Ever wanted to be the superhero with your own comic book series? Now you can! You are Sketch Turner, an artist who has been stuck in his comic by one of his creations who came to life, and now you want out, and you want revenge. But first, you must prove your intelligence and combat to the test as you face your own creations, but don't worry, You got your little buddy Roadkill the rat at your side!

Kid Chameleon 4/5- It's a video game within a video game! You are the toughest kid around, you are Kid Chameleon! The boss in the new virtual reality game has been capturing kids who lost at the game, and only you can stop him. Become a samurai and use you katana against your opponents or become a rhino where you can unlock secrets in each level. Do you have what it takes to conquer one of the longest platformers ever made? There's only one way to find out.

Flicky 1/5- You haven't seen crap until you've played this retarded game! You are flicky the bird and you must free little chickies (i can't believe I just said that) while avoiding lizards and cats (okay, whats with the lizards?) and you rack up points. Then it's basically rinse and repeat except each round is different. But the music, graphics, controls, excitement, You will find none of that here.... Except crap... But this crap doesn't even compare to the crap that spins in your toilet. Sega, why did you give us this when we could have gotten Shinobi III or streets of rage!?

Well, wooh that was alot! As you can see, people here are selling this game for around 2$ when this game is atleast worth 15$, seriously! I say you buy this all the way because every game (except flicky) will give you that moment of joy that no other collection of games can give you, no one. This game runs well on all modern or later computers and it hardly requires any space so I say go for it, especially if you missed out on the sega genesis. Also check out the first sega smash pack for pc. That one rocks just like this one.
