Review: I bought Mall Tycoon when it first came out! I paid $30.00 for it. Boy, I made a mistake that day! Mall Tycoon is a very disapointing game with terrible graphics. This game is instantly forgettable! Do not purchase!

Summary: No where near Roller Coaster quality
Review: My sister got this game for me after she saw my addictive nature towards Roller Coaster Tycoon. I opened it up and thought the package had been mislabeled....well maybe not that bad but the graphics were antique and the basic functions of the game did not challenge you AT ALL!!! If you have a child 6-10 then maybe they would enjoy it but I doubt that it will hold their attention for long. The concept is full of holes. There is NO room for any creativity. I was very disappointed!

Summary: Nothing like the quality Tycoon or Sim Game; it [is bad]!
Review: This game appears to have mixed reviews, but all things considered this game [stinks]!I was excited when I first heard about this game. Now I own it, and I'm severly disappointed. It's certainly a great concept in the world of simulation games, (the creation of my own shopping mall) but there is so much lacking. The graphics and sound/music are very poor in quality. The game interface is tough to get used to and the action of the game is extremely boring and controlled mostly by the AI, which takes away so much fun from the game. The game is lacking in how much detail the user can control, (as said before) most of it is controlled by the AI. This game ranks right down there with Airport Tycoon, Snow Resort Tycoon and Skatepark Tycoon... If you want good quality sim and tycoon games, check out: Roller Coaster Tycoon, The Sims, Sim Golf,the original Theme Park, Theme Hospital etc. You are bound to enjoy anything made by Maxis, Interplay, Bullfrog, Electronic Arts, and Microsoft. These games allow you to have control over the most minute detail, not just broad things with no depth; ie. what type of store you put in. The characters walk around in the stores without bags, and you don't even see them pick up things to buy. Maybe if Mall Tycoon was [low in price] it might be worth buying... Play the demo first, or get it from a friend who's already wasted their money.

Review: This game really stunk in the graphic's area....the people look like blobs, and mostly just float across the rooms. My two year old could have done a better job creating this game than whoever did...Do not buy unless you just really want to be bored and frustrated...

Summary: Good Little Game
Review: While this game pales in comparison to some of the other simulation games that are out there, I choose to look at it on its own merit. Be forewarned: if you buy this game expecting it to be as great as Roller Coaster Tycoon, you will be sorely disappointed. But in reality, without the other fantastic titles on the market, this game would be considered fun and well-liked. The main reason I could only give it three stars is that it wasn't thoroughly developed enough to provide me with more than 15 to 20 hours of fun. After that, I put it in the box and never thought of taking it out again. Still, this game might be worth it if you see it on deep discount somewhere and want a game that you won't miss once you switch computers and Mall Tycoon is no longer supported.

Review: Ok...so i bought this game and i was so excited and I wanted to play this game right away. But as time went on, i noticed how corny the graphics were and how the people in the stores are totally different from the people on the outside and how they do the same thing!!!! This game is trash!!! If you want real fun, get zoo tycoon, the sims series, or rollercoaster tycoon. DONT BUY THIS GAME!!!!
