Summary: Excellent Racing Game
Review: I have been on racing for three months now, almost every night (very addictive). Yes, there is a ...[monthly] fee to play this game, I read the whole box before I purchased it so it was not a surprise and as it turns out it's worth every penny. I was not in Beta, but after the last 3 patches all issues posted here previously have been addressed and it has turned the game into an excellent racing community. I recommend this game to all ages, yes there are always a few exceptions, but because of the small monthly fee to play you'll find most racers are mature and just there to have fun racing a 57 Bel Air or a 32 Ford at 140mph through an old dirt road. If your a classic or muscle car buff, you'll think they wrote the game just for you.
This is the Racing Game of All Racing Games...

Summary: Greatest GAME EVER!!!!!!!!
Review: ...I'm in uptown. This game is the coolest! This game has drag, circuit, sponsered, and street races. Also you can race for pink slips, cash, and nothing. You can join a club, trade, sell, auction, and chat. This game can allow you to get a crappy car and upgrade it so much it is almost unstoppable. It also has my favorite car, a 70' Ford Mustang. GET THIS GAME!!!!!!

Summary: Awesome game.
Review: This is the best racing game I have ever played. But it costs 9.99 a month but think about it, if you go to the movies twice a month, you spent more money than the 9.99. This game allows true interaction, you race people, chat with people, and even join clubs. If you like cars you will enjoy the freedom of building the engine from the block up.

Summary: Car Racing At Its Coolest
Review: All I can really say is that I can't tear my 9 yr old away from the computer because of this game he loves it! You race others online and win money to buy your own cars and if you ruin your car then you can buy new parts from others or a junkyard they have all kinds of great stuff for you to do. You can sponser teams and get paid a salary and lots more! O fcourse the money is only fake online money but they make is seem so real and all the things you can do keeps my kid interested and that's a hard enough accomplishment!1

Summary: Nothings for free
Review: MY 12 year old son wanted this game, he spent 2 months allowance (40.00) to buy it only to find out that it would cost him another 9.99 a month to play.Since we already opened the box we couldn't take it back so now he's stuck with a 40 game he can only use for 30 days( the free trial) No where in the instructions does it say it costs actually it says set up your free account. I finally found in very small print on the back of the box that there is a SMALL monthly fee, to a kid 9.99 is not a small fee. That's fine is they charge but they should make that perfectly clear like in big letters on the front of the box. I was really disappointed because he did really like the game. I wrote to EA game hoping that maybe they would reinburse his money but I'm not holding my breath. So unless you're willing to pay the fee don't buy it.

Summary: A new massive multiplayer game...
Review: Vaaarooom! 4 hours later, Zzzzzz....

That is the best way I can describe this title. It looked and sounded hot! Only one problem. E.A. Forgot to put the multi-player elements in their multi-player game.

One thing is for sure, it has a ton of engine parts! You can swap, trade and buy all kinds of parts to modify your cars performance! This alone may entertain you but everyone already knows the best formulas and setups. Not many car bodies though. Not much action in racing between players going on at all. I am not really sure what to really make of this game. It certainly bored me to death after a few days.

I did play for a few months and E.A. Dropped the ball on patches and updates. I should have spent my [price]on a new title. ([price] month X 3 for subscription fees) A successful Multi-Player game needs fresh new content added constantly. MCO has none of that. A couple new engine parts added and some cheat prevention is all I have really seen... To bad this title really sounded like it could have been a blast if done better.

Summary: Very Disapointed in EA.
Review: I was very excited to get this game. As an avid motorhead and collector car nut, this game held much promise. But I was sorely disapointed to find that after my initial $40 layout for the game , I would be forced to pay $9.99 a month to continue using this game. This fact was not made clear, it appears in miniature writing on the back of the box if you read that far. It says nothing in the instruction book about a monthly payment. I am now in a tight spot as to getting my money back without losing anything. Do not buy this game unless you want to pay them $120 a year for the privilege.

Summary: Da Best Car Gmae
Review: This game was the best game I have ever played. The only downside is the 10$ monthly fee. It's more then worth the money, and the satisfaction of hearing a loud purr of a 402 under the hodd, is what it's all about. GET THIS GAME

Summary: Racing at its Worst
Review: After buying the game you'll be paying ten bucks a month to play it and the learning curve will be long - very long, just the way EA intended. If you want to race, and not spend years earning money to buy parts, in order to be competitive - look elsewhere. The beta-testers may love it - they played for free for months and learned the game but I'd rather have an even playing field when I do my on-line battles and I'll pass on the role playing aspect too.
