Summary: two thumbs down
Review: I personally think this game sucks. I have played many first person shooter games and I can honestly say this one is the worst. Personally I would rather watch donkeys having intercourse in my bathtub. This game made me so depressed od'd zoloft. After playing this game even my sister was sexually appealing. I'm fat and queer. If you want to be my friend

Summary: horribible
Review: I've been playing Delta Force titles since DF2. They are all good, in my opinion. Forget about every thing you hear about how sucky the factory missions are in Task Force Dagger, or how easy they are, or whatever. Anybody that's anybody skips them anyway for the real meat and potatos that's online. If you wanna have some real fun, get online and play this game in coop mode. That is where all the real action is anyway. There are some real smart people out there making missions that put Novalogic to shame. Very challenging missions and complex. If you haven't played a coop, and torn the living hell out of the enemy with the Saco M60 machine gun, you ain't breathing my friend. The best part is, that sometimes, your teamates are murderers and ya gotta clobber the hell out of them too! You gotta teach them a lesson. Hey, it's an added diminsion to the game. Anybody that says this game is boring has not explored the full potential of what a person can do in it. The sky is the limit with Task Force Dagger. Think "freedom" to do whatever you want while playing. Your are definately not a rat in a trap like so many other games out there.

Summary: Four year old computer might need help running it
Review: I've got Delta Force 1 & 2, didn't have too many problems with them (although #2 does seem a little buggier and I had to reinstall it for good operation) and really kind of liked them. When I saw that Task Force Dagger was out I bought it and almost wished I hadn't. According to the specifications you need to have Win 95, 98, 00 or XP and at least a 400 mhz Pentium II with 64-128 mb of RAM and at least a Nvidia TNT graphics card as well as Direct X 7. My 4 year old Gateway has the TNT, a 450 mhz PII, Win 98,128 mb RAM, and I thought was updated to Direct X 7 but the poor old thing won't run this program. Installation was troublesome, I was able to install Direct X 8a, yet later was told that my graphics cards drivers didn't fully support Direct X 7 and that I might need to get updated drivers(that might be hard to do if the company has gone out of business, nVidia can help but provides no tech support if something goes wrong). Part of the time the computer wouldn't even recognize the CD as being the correct one.
I finally did get going only to get a screen that showed the program was giving my computer great difficulties. I'm not sure if I bought a buggy CD, need new graphics card drivers, or just need to reinstall the program.
It turned out that reinstalling helped a little, that and turning most of the FX off. The game itself is just a little different from Delta 1&2 but very interesting although it can be maddeningly difficult at times (esp. with only one gameplay setting). I've seen a few odd little bugs in what I've made it through but with a newer model computer it should work just fine. I don't think I'll spend 100's on a new graphics card to see if that'll make it run better. Those of you with older machines may want to borrow the game from someone first to see if your computer can handle it.

Summary: There are WAY better games
Review: If you are looking for good first person shooters, here is a list of some you should try: Half-Life, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Medal of Honor: Allied Assualt, Aliens vs. Predator 2, and Red Faction. The best thing about this game is the very large outdoor enviroment. Try any of these and you will decide that the Delta Force series [isn't as good].

Summary: Great Game, Too Many BUGS....
Review: If your a fan of the Delta Force Series, this is still a must. I love it BUT they really rushed to put it out to market. There is a lot of bugs. For one example, The mission: Capture the General that is protected by 3 guards in the tallest building. I never got to the building, I never saw the gaurds, but when I killed the last bad guy outside the building, it said Mission Complete". There a few missions like this. Other missions say kill everyone, and after killing 10 of 15 bad guys, it said the mission was finished. But still it was worth playing because of the current events taking place in the middle east. Time flew while I played it, and finished the game in 2 days. I was disappointed that the campaigns where the same as quick missions, unlike DF past games. Being a sniper in the helicopter was the BEST mission! I can't wait for Blackhawk Down, BUT PLEASE TEST IT!

Summary: Best game of the four.
Review: In Task Force Dagger they added a few weapons and incorporated more missions with caves and city infiltrations. I've played all the Delta Force games and this one is by far my favorite. They didn't change the flavor like many developers do, so you still get the original Delta Force game play. There are more weapons and more detailed missions but it's not different or enhanced from the previous games. I can't wait until Black Hawk Down comes out, now that looks awesome!

Summary: Based on the War in Afghanistan
Review: Task Force Dagger takes the Delta Force franchise to the war in Afghanistan in this latest episode. Developed by Zombie, the makers of SPEC OPS and Rainbow Six: Covert Ops - Task Force Dagger is based on the Noval;ogic Land Warrior engine. The graphics are getting dated compared to the very latest shooter, but this is a solid game that will run well on older computers. A lot of fun, the multiplayer is still the best on the net in this genre. Don't be put off by the hardcore fanboys reviews (and their [$$$] PCs they have to justify by snubbing this game). If you love military shooters, you'll love this game.

Summary: Let Down
Review: The anticipation of Task Force Dagger was quite high after playing Land Warrior mulitple times. Unfortunatley within minutes of my first mission I felt as though something was either wrong with me or the game. Why were the hostiles "Sitting Ducks" Where was the combat? Why did every barrack and building apprear to be the same as the last? Where was the dramatic music? Where was the need of urgency in the voices of my team? Where was my team? It wasn't me. It was the game.

Summary: Not as bad as people make it out to be.
Review: The game boasts improved graphics and sounds as well as the addition of new weapons such as the SLAM which replaces the Satchel charge and the M4SD which will choose to be a worthy replacement for the PSG since it's rate of fire is far superior. Online gaming introduces a new suite of maps which although addicting tend to be too fast in the search and destroy arena. The sniper scopes appear to be off slightly shooting a little higher than the reticle displays. Sounds have been improved so that the weapons closely match their real world counterparts. Unfortunately cheaters have plagued the Nova servers since the first month so if playing online be prepared for the 35MPH belly crawler. Despite the short missions and online annoyances the single player boasts a tiny increase in difficulty from it's predecessor. Like their DFLW counterparts, these enemy when not standing totally still or facing the wrong direction, frequently run around in a stupor but tend to be a little more accurate. I have played the game at it's highest level of difficulty and the enemy has continuously proven to be idiots. All in all it is an enjoyable game and the variety of missions available both on and offline make it worth purchasing once the price drops which has already happened once.
