Summary: Stupid, Stupid.....Stupid!
Review: This title is for those who said the game was bad. Really, i hate golf but in the last couple of weeks i enjoyed it. So then i bought tiger woods 2001. I read people's comments and tried to ignore their stupid suggestions. Just then i installed my game into the hardware. It only took 3mins! When i started to play the game, i have to admit, it was really hard to control the ball even in beginner stage! Now people said the game has a few flaws and that it runs slow but they have them selves to blame! They should have read the manuals and system requirments section before buying this game so they could know if the game as reliable. Anyhow, the graphics is great but yes there were a few flaws only. The sound is terrific and the gameplay also starts to be easy when you get used to swing the ball alot. I must say this game is good but many costumers are very dumb to say that tiger woods 2000 is better.

Summary: Tiger gets a c!
Review: Tiger Woods 2001 is the biggest waste of time and money. TW 2000 is quicker faster and smoother. The game has had little to no chenges at all. There are no new animations nor improvements in graphics. I think that EA Sports just put the same cd in a new box. I would never recommend this game to anyone. I actually received it for free since I purchased 2 other EA sports game and I wish I never had. I was so disapointed.

Summary: Good game,bad graphics.
Review: TW 2001 is not bad, except the graphics.instead of seeing a nice smooth swing it's choppy most of the time.Adding 3 new courses and 2 new players was great, but the graphics problem really takes away from it.It is a small improvement from last year's though.I would suggest you get and try it out and wait until TW 2002 and hope they improve it.

Summary: Stick with Tiger Woods 99 or 2000
Review: Using a 466 with 128 ram, this game puts one to sleep between shots. I loved the '99 version, but was extremely disappointed when I saw how slow play was on the 2001.I also found many of the graphics to be too dark on certain holes and courses.

Summary: Play like Tiger!
Review: Well, at least on the computer. PGA Tour 2001 is better in many aspects compared to last years game. You can play a regular round of golf, match play, presidents cup or just practice if you like. Basically, its tough to get bored. This game consists of two cd's packed with different courses to play. Although the game is good, I still think the Links LS series is a little better, but in this game you can play as Tiger. The graphics are good, problem is you really need a fast, newer video card to be able to handle it, otherwise it looks blocky. The players swings are very crisp and smooth as well. I guess if there is any downside, its that the system requirements are fairly steep, but it does still look good on older machines. If you are thinking about buying a golf game for your computer I would give this game a try along with Links LS, both are very similar, and you won't go wrong with either game.
