Summary: Diablo Has To Be My Favorite RPG On The PC
Review: I have had Diablo for about 2 or 3 years now and I still play the multiplayer (I even play the single player occasionaly). Exploring dungeons, killing hideous monsters, getting stronger, and learning new abilities has never been so fun. There's only 3 character classes but there cool character classes. You'v got your Strong and brave Warrior, you have your incredibly accurate master of archery, the Rouge, and you of course have to have the magic dude, the Sorcerer. The game offers great challenges, however some of the bosses were easy, especialy Diablo. I'm not saying I didn't break a sweat when fighting him, I just expected him to be stronger. Uh, but when you meet the Butcher, be ready to get very mad because you will probably die the first 6 fights (remember to save your game often!!). Multiplayer can be really fun, but somtimes those stupid hackers ruin everything. If you download anti crashes (protects you from being crashed), or god mode ( invincibility that keeps you from being killed by other players), the hackers won't bother you too much, thus letting you have a much funner game :) I havn't played Diablo 2, but I have watched a friend play it and it looks great. Ill have to buy it somtime. Oh, and if you like gore in your games there's alot of it in here. Like when you kill a zombie, its body parts fall off and some flesh and blood splatters on the wall, or when one of those horned demons die, their chest splits open and blood just goes everywhere. And don't think the dungeons and all the other levels are going to be clean and happy, because they are made up of bodys, heads, arms, and everything stuck on spikes, or dead bodys chained to walls. And it's kinda disturbing when you walk into the Butchers "kitchen", because theres blood, organs, and body parts scrawled all over the floor. This is definatelly not a game for kids AT ALL. The graphics and sound are good considering how old the game is. This is no doubt one of the best RPGs to ever grace the pc. A must buy!!!

Summary: A Dark Classic
Review: I consider Diablo to be a dungeon, evil-full, quest classic game. There are 3 things an all-star game must have: story, environment and music and Diablo has all of these. Diablo is set up on an mid-age kind of place with music you just can't get rid of. Depending on the mood of the dungeon you are in, there's just the perfect kind of music and monsters combining and making your play-experience more addictive. There's also diferent kinds of quests, so if you've already finished one time, you can play it again and find different ones and also monsters and special wepons depending also on the type of hero you play. The best thing I like about it. is it's humor... don't beleive me? there's this fellow townsfolk I'd just luvo to talk with, he's so fun! There's also all kinds of mid-ages weapons and armor you wont ever imagine, and some other cool stuff I can't tell you because I would probably spoil the game if you haven't played it. To understand the future of RPG, future game playing you must have played this olddie first. Even now, I don't have any dificulty playing it with all the new games we have, I just can't get rid of it. Have fun!

Review: Diablo is an awesome game.The graphics are awesome,and the bosses are really hard.Also i like the special things like a town portal that allows you to go back and forth from the town to the dungeon.The characters are good and they all have special abilities.Also the game is very good to play on the computer.Now at the price amazon is selling it for buy this awesome game.

Summary: Too maze-like with not enough up-close detail.
Review: I'm an action fan and I love games like Final Fantasy 7, Duke Nukem 3D, etc., but there just wasn't enough detail with the surroundings in all those dungeons and labyriths.

Everything was too small on the screen, the charaters, even the biggest monsters. At least in Duke Nukem, the surroundings are more real-life. Yes, it's somewhat exciting with plenty to monsters to slaughter, but it just goes on and on. All those mazes were too intellectual for me to enjoy any excitement. It's dark and you're always trying to find your way out, etc. Also, the music and theme of the whole game in general is dark and depressing. And like I said before, there's not enough detail with the graphics and characters. I like Duken Nukem 3D because it's more close up. Even 'Quake' is more detailed than this game.

Summary: Between Duke Nuke 3d and Baldurs Gate
Review: Between Duke Nuke 3d and Baldurs Gate there was Diablo. I rank all of these as the most immersive, pleasureable sinks of time I ever experienced. The game is old by todays standards, the multiplayer experience is riddled by hackers, but for its time it was truley revolutionary. I have seen this game lately on the under [low-price] shelf. I paid much more for it when it was recent and never regretted it. The only reason I do not play it anymore is my version is not compatible with Windows ME and my Windows 95 machine is now retired. Alas, the Blood War is no more!

Summary: Pretty good...
Review: I had bought Diablo 2 and the expansion for it before buying the origional Diablo. I expected it to be even better because I usually think "the origional is better."
But it turned out the exact opposite. I found myself stuck on the same level for a while. This huge pig with a butcher knife killed me over and over again, and the people that live in the little town thing assign you the mission. I finally killed it but the missions just get boring and you're just going through this big dungeon full of skeletons. I know it may sound whimpy, but the game is too chalenging. Maybe it is because I just played as the Rouge???
But otherwise, I think it has a good Dungeons and Dragons feel to it, and that is a good thing to me.

Review: Well if there was an ultimate re-playable game this is it. Diablo revolutionised the gaming indusrty and thought it was completed AGES ago people still play it.

Basically you're a character (Warrior, Rogue or sorcer) be prepared for fiteen gruelling levels of monsters of a shapes and sizes. With randomly generated monsters, quests and maos this game is replayable.

and when you've done the quests, ge ready for the final one Diablo the Lord of Destruction.

and of course you canm play with your friends on the Net. So come on! get it! This game is like only 6MB! and it's connected to battle net.
buy it and yo won't be dissapointed, until the sequel

Review: What a wonderful game. As my first experience in the gaming world, I will admit this game is always going to be close to my big ol' gaming heart. Though I have now moved on to other games, this one will still be an old fav. How can you not battling bad guys named "The Butcher"? :)
