Summary: Not worth the money at all....Dont waste it!
Review: This game is awful. the dinosaurs are VERY picky. they like a lot of plants, but then they run over them and get mad about the rubble. It is very hard to keep them happy. also, i hired a crew that catches dinos if they escape. when my spinosaurus got out and started eating people, they just stood there! all my guests were screaming and running from my zoo. Very frustrating, and a money waster!!!

Summary: Don't Buy This Game!!!!!
Review: This is great game and a very fun addition to Zoo Tycoon, but you can get it with Marine Mania for the same price as it alone.

The game itself adds plenty of new animals with the addition of dinosaurs. You now have a scientist and a dinosaur collection team. Oh Yeah, if the T-Rex gets out, he will eat your guests!

Summary: Fun game for the entire family!
Review: The Zoo Tycoon series is one of the greatest thing to happen to RTS (Real Time Strategy) since the invention of the optical mouse! Marine Mania offers a new twist with the introduction of animals that must have aquatic habitats.

This game also comes with the "Dinosaur Digs" expansion, which is frustrating if you have already purchased it, and great if you haven't The combination of the games gives you a ton of challenging scenerios and batch of animals to keep in your zoo.

I only wish you could pick up unhappy guests and throw those whiners in the lake like you can in Roller Coaster Tycoon!

Overall, this is a fabulous game with tons of replay value. It is a good, non-violent game to add to your collection.

Summary: I wish they would ship Zoo Tycoon to Austrailia
Review: I liked the demos when I first downloded them,But they are quickly becoming boring.I am rating the game on the Demos so do not take much notice of it.I'v seen the game in Brisbane but was not able to afford it.I hope that amazon will beable to ship it to Australia in time for my birthday.

Summary: great game!
Review: this game is loads of fun The expansion pack is necissary too. There are many animals and real restaurants on line as well. If you like RCT you'll like this as well

Summary: Loads of Fun - With Flaws
Review: I have played many simulations over the years and this is the first one I've seen for a zoo. Of course I had to get it. Overall, it is a great game. The controls and gameplay are fairly easy to understand. The graphics are highly detailed and really help to get you into the game. It's fun to watch the animals in their habitat. With many terrains, buildings, animals, scenery, and objectives to work with, it's an overall entertaining sim. This game has one really big flaw that keeps it from getting 5 stars...

CHARACTER AI! The handymen are about as dumb as they can get when it comes to computer sims. No matter how many you place, they all go for the same trash to clean up.. regardless to their proximity to other trash. In Rollercoaster Tycoon, the handymen cleaned up the closest mess. Not only that, but in RCT, you can zone the handymen. I'm surprised Microsoft let Blue Fang slip this large problem through. I purchased the Dinosaur Digs expansion because I love Jurassic Park, but the AI problem is still there. The problem also exists with the maintenance people, but it's not as noticeable since they really don't do much. I hope that future expansions include AI improvements.

If you can overlook the AI problem, Zoo Tycoon is an enjoyable, realistic zoo sim with plenty to do!

Summary: Great, Great, Great!
Review: This is a great add-on to the Zoo Tycoon series. The animals and the buildings are really slick and can add a lot to your zoo. However, I can't think of anything else they can do for this series to keep it running....

Summary: A well done experience!
Review: Zoo Tycoon is alarmingly addictive. Like the other games of this genre, there is a certain level of education that the game passes on in order to make you a better player... for example, you will quickly learn what kind of terrain and foliage a LOT of different animals prefer. That makes it very interesting for adults and educational for kids.

There are many different ways to success (or failure) which makes this game have a high replayability value. I have often found myself coming back to it after a few months away and quickly get the same intense enthusiasm for the game - thinking THIS TIME I'm going to get it right!

Perhaps the best part is not something I would recommend for REAL zookeepers... when you are done for your session, save your game and then tear down a few fences here and there... preferably on cages that have really BIG MEAN animals. It's amusing to watch your 900 guests run screaming for the exits as your Bengal Tiger picks them off one by one in "cartoon thundercloud" violence! :)

Summary: Zoo Tycoon
Review: This game is overall, great! It is very addictive and fun to create your own zoo, but after a while the game gets boring. The setup of this game was easy, it even told you how to play while you are waiting. If you still don't understand this game, you can play one of the tutorials. Marine Mania (which includes Dinosaur Digs) adds even more fun to this game. This game is great.

Summary: Zoo Tycoon Marine Mania is a must!
Review: When I first perchased the original Zoo Tycoon I was a little bit disapointed. The graphics wern't bad but there were no sea creatures or barely any aquatic animals beside the crocodile, polar bear, sea lion, hippo, and penguin. Yet when I purchased Marine Mania my troubles were solved. ( I have always had an enterest in marine biology. )You get new buildings, objects and animals such as the great white shark, sperm whale, and atlantic sword fish. Along with regular marine exibits you can build a marine mammal/fish show. But only the killer whale, bottlenose dolphin, California Sea Lion, Southern sea Otter and Great White Shark will preform in tanks. But when you create your marie habitat be sure to buy a tank filter or a marine specialize the maintenece of your tank. When you get marine Mania you also get Dino digs. With dino digs you create a Prehistoric and Ice Age feeling to your super zoo. You get new stuff and of course Dinosaurs and prehistoric beasts such as the Wooly Mammoth, Velocioraptor and of course Tyrannosaurus Rex. But tou don't just get them full grown you purchase them as eggs and assign scientists to help it hatch. So you get Sea World and Jurassic Park in one Box! Be warned the sharks, sperm whales and Tyrannosaurus will eat guests that you put in their exibits !!Its fun to watch a gust get devoured by The rex. But these animals will only eat grown men not women,or children. The creators must have been sexist. A few codes: put a mermaid stachue in a tank and a living mermaid will burst from it. To get all the dinosaurs at the begining of the freeform game Name a guest Dinoman and all dinos shall become avalible whith out any consevation funding. If you want to have unlimited money hold down Shift and 4 and your money will rise rapidly, just make sure you do it at the begining befor you create any exibits for the fences shall decay and the tank water will turn brown. For the Dinosucus Crocodile name an exibit Supercroc and you shall be able to adopt this animal. Name an Exibit Cretaceous Corral and the Tricerotops shall become avalible, make sure you leave the exibit name as Exibit 1, 2, 3 , ect. then rename it. If you do not do it in this order the game WILL CRASH. Bottom Line: Good game, should keep gamers on ther computers for days strait.
