Summary: Actually Fun and Addicting
Review: As you can see in other reviews other people didnt have any luck getting it to work. But for me it is actually one of the few I HAVE got to work. Now i had a tough time deciding whether to give this a 3 or 4 star rating. First of it is a very fun game, and it is pretty simple laying down florring and shops. But the hard part was managing the money. I had the hardest time trying to find a happy medium trying to place how much each shop payed in rent and how much of their income I got.If you placed it to high the store would run out of business,to low you wouldnt make any money. But finally after an hour or two of experimenting I found something that was atleast making me a profit and keeping the stores around.
So I gave it four stars because it is fun and addicting. And as I said before it is easy to lay ou shps and stuff like that. So I would say buy it.

Summary: Don't waste your time
Review: At first I was all excited about buying Mall Tycoon 2. I thought it would be really neat, but I can't even get the game to run, it just goes back to the desktop everytime. This is my first Tycoon game I have ever bought now I am afraid to buy any more of them.

Review: before even CONtemplating purchasing this game. I suggest you check out their forum site. (which Globalstar apparently doesn't too much) Even tho, there has been a patched released. Many people are still having problems getting the game to run. as in, ad, ad, BLACKOUT, boot to desktop. Even tho, they are running a variety of video cards that 'technically' should work! (updated drivers, tried all sorts of setting, etc) I am one of the 'lucky' few to get this game to run. (pretty much 32 bit 800 x 600 only is what the general view is) problems with any other setting. and... it's an 'ok' game.. but once the 'novelty' wears off.. it will probably be another coffee pretty coffee coaster.

Review: I bet this game would have been fun...IF IT WORKED!!! This game wouldn't even start after I loaded it! I wouldn't waste your money on this. You should get RollerCoaster Tycoon instead.

Summary: Fun, now that I can finally get it to run
Review: I couldn't even get this game to run until I applied the latest patch, but now it's running fine. Not in the same league as Roller Coaster Tycoon, of course, but still a fun little sim.

Review: I got the first mall tycoon for my birthday last year and it didn't work I took it back 2 times and got new ones and none of them worked. When mall tycoon came out I got it again for my birthday, I'm a huge fan of these kind of games have them all. But just like the first one the first 4 times I loaded it and it didn't work and when it did it didn't work good. Its a waste of money and a big disappointment, I was very excited by the concept of building the mall but all that happed was that i was disappointed.

Summary: Don't bother. --From a Sim Game Fanatic
Review: I have an exceptional and probably excessive amount of Sim games in my collection. All of Maxis', "The Sims" expansions including the latest, Makin' Magic, Sim City 4, Zoo Tycoon with Expansions, Roller Coaster Tycoon with expansions, etc., etc. I was incredibly disappointed with this game to the ends that I played it for two hours before uninstalling it, repacking it, and putting it up for sale on eBay to have it taken off of my hands immediately afterwards. I wasn't about to drive myself crazy with frustration and the displeasure I got out of the first two hours alone. It's too bad I won't get those two hours back to play something that made more sense. LOL. The previous reviews have probably said it all; The game has no tutorial. I spent the first hour playing guessing games to get accustomed with how the menu bars work. The second hour was trial and failure; working with it to get some kind of business going once I had a general idea on how to navigate through the game. There is not enough money to begin with and the game comes to an abrupt end which is highly frustrating. The cursor on the screen is big enough that you can probably see it from 50 feet away with no options to tone it town several times smaller. The options available for this game were just about slim-to-none. The scenarios didn't seem remotely interesting. I tested one out to try and make up my own tutorial and get something running to be met with the same frustrations as I did when I tried the free-build mode. I have no problem spending the money to buy the strategy guides for Sim Games, and this one I had to say I wouldn't dare do. The game alone was just terrible. Even at a reasonably low price, I do not recommend this game. I recommend pretty much any other Tycoon game outside of the Mall Tycoon games to have a good time with.

Summary: Super Mall Tycoon 2
Review: I have just bought Mall Tycoon 2 and its one of the best tycoon games I have ever played and I have most of them. I also have the previous version, Mall Tycoon 1 and it was ok but no where near as much fun as this one. The graphics, now 3D people, the music, the gameplay, everything has been improved from the previous game. I see its a new developer who has done this one and it shows. I enjoyed trying to build our local mall and I can get very close to it. Its amazing, if they only had the stores with their right names, you would think you were actually there. The first person mode is really cool, you can walk right around the mall and even go into the stores.
If you want a good tycoon game, I recommend this one HIGHLY

Review: I returned my copy, and I never do that but this game was that bad. It's a case of first game is ok, 2nd game thrown together. The graphics were very poor, something you would have seen developed years ago. The game was the worse sim game I had ever played. I was very disappointed.
